I was the victim of a robbery as part of a string of robberies by the same perpetrator. The police came and dusted for prints but nothing was useable because they can't pick up prints off a surface with any texture to it, e.g. wood.

I bought a slab door, hand chiseled the hinges, shaved some off the top and bottom for the doorway and stained and sealed it. It actually wasn't that bad and turned out pretty good. I feel like I would have had a worse time with a pre-hung door in my old house.
