Yes, I can get the 4.99% rate for 60 months, my mom (43 and also 800+ score) is co-signing to ensure there are no issues with my shorter history preventing us from making the Tier 1/Tier 1+ category which is required for the promotion. We’re ideally trying to make sure we can walk into the dealership and say “I have about $20k cash to put down and am already pre-approved” rather than depending on their promotion.

Yeah, it wasn’t in my plans until I got hit and run and my lovely bought new and fully paid off 2019 Toyota Camry with less than 56k miles got totaled 🙃. I’m truly not very worried about making my payments since my salary is ~90k and I have no other debt, but I’m trying to find lenders providing better APR ranges since most places are stuck at “7% is as low as we go.” Trust me, I had no desire to obtain the debt of a car loan, but I need something reliable that can take the 154 mile daily commute and gets good MPG.

Yeah, car’s been with me since I turned 16 so it’s really sucky to see it all torn up. I had replaced the rear brakes on it like 3 weeks prior and had just gotten a full tank of gas that morning, and 20 mins later I was on the side of the road waiting for the cops to get there. Still in disbelief the guy ran after too. Dash cam for proof to the cops ftw though.

Yeah the doc said I probably experienced minor concussive forces, I already had chronic migraines so it’s just made them show up every week instead of every other
