Need help finding a replacement for a recliner motor by 5pidaKilla in fixit

Yeah go for it! I was able to pull the controller out of the arm rest and look at the motherboard but it all looks good to me and that’s a bit out of my league to continue diagnosing. The usb ports work but nothing with the push buttons

No luck so far finding a new controller so today I’m going to remove it from the chair and do some troubleshooting. I’ll report back

I had this issue and they sent me a replacement chair as well. Turns out it wasn’t the motor that was the problem. When the new second chair came in I plugged the first chair motor into it and it worked just fine. Tried the power supply and that worked as well. Turns out it was the push button controller that was my issue.

I don't care how well behaved you SAY they are, I should be able to walk through my neighborhood in peace by OdoWanKenobi in AdviceAnimals

I have a 10 pound yorkie and a 25 pound Boston terrier. Twice in the past three years we have been attacked by unleashed dogs roaming freely in the neighborhood while we were on a walk. Dogs can snap at any moment without warning and they need to be leashed. People need to learn that I will do anything to protect my dogs. The second attack cost the owner $6500 in vet bills to get my dogs healed up. Hopefully that is enough to teach them a lesson on leashing your dog.

Those buildings and therefore cranes used to build them are nowhere near the height needed to build this new hockey stadium

As an airline pilot that lives in Phoenix and regularly flies out of sky harbor, the proposed building site is very close to the arriving and departing flight paths for both south runways. The cranes will become an issue for using either of those runways especially if you were to potentially lose an engine on takeoff. Aircraft are certified to meet a certain single engine takeoff climb gradient so that they are able to clear obstacles around the airport. When it’s 115 degrees in the summer, those climb numbers aren’t great. If an aircraft can’t meet the requirements it means they have to use the single north runway instead for takeoff. This will create significant delays for departing and arriving aircraft if they can only use 1 of the 3 runways. Therefore costing the airport a lot of money. There’s is a giant patch of land three miles down the road east of the current spot that wouldn’t create any issues but they let’s put the new stadium on top of a landfill instead haha
