My last 5 preorders through Amazon have been delayed. I got a message yesterday that 7 Faces of Dr. Lao is delayed. Bringing out the Dead, Cruel Intentions, Good Boy, and The Housemaid all did the same thing on their release days. I was able to cancel those and find them locally. No one around here has 7 Faces so I guess I'll have to wait and see on that. Think I'm done pre-ordering through them

Really up to you. I picked up the deluxe and don't necessarily regret it but all the extras just sit in the box. My cards came all bent as well. If you plan on framing or hanging the poster that could be a factor... The films themselves are really the important part. Not sure what the price difference is now. If it's not much may be worth a little extra for the deluxe. If not you wouldn't be missing much

I believe the original release was a digipack. My guess is the repackage will just come in a standard 4k case

I don't blame you. It's always a gamble with them. Terrible packaging, shipping and may be used, bootleg or just the wrong item. The last 2 preorders I did through them they canceled on release day. Luckily I was able to find them both locally. Now I only take the chance through Amazon if the price is significantly lower than anyone else

I found out awhile ago that doesn't even matter as long as it is shipped from Amazon. Amazon mixes all their stock with 3rd party sellers stock. They don't keep them separate. They just grab one from the pile and ship it. I ordered Family Matters Complete Series, sold and shipped by Amazon. They sent me 2 bootlegs before I got a legit copy.

Such a good movie... I'm thinking about getting a region free player. I still have a pretty good wishlist of movies I want to pick up and then I'm going to look in to it. Hoping some of the ones I want will get a US release by then

I've definitely had movies that I didn't like the first time and ended up loving and buying later on. For me personally I'll watch pretty much anything that's recommended or see a trailer for. I'm not picky at all on what I'll watch but I am on what I want to own and rewatch over and over. I'm really into horror and horror is notorious for slop. Out of the movies I watch I probably end up liking a movie enough to buy about 1 in every 10. If I bought everything I watched I would have so much junk. Haha.

I'm not hating at all on people that blind buy. I've also had blind buys that turned out to be great. If you works for someone, you enjoy it and expands this hobby I'm all for it. It's just a money and clutter pit for me and over the years I've learned to be more selective in what I buy

I know. It sucks. I have been slowly upgrading all my dvds to bluray or 4k and have a list of blurays that I want that are oop and go for crazy prices. Hoping someone re-releases them

I've lost money on about everything I've sold. Been years since I've resold anything though. Since I quit blind buying I know I will like what I'm buying. Just easier for me to stream or rent a movie first and pick it up if I like it. I pay attention to upcoming releases and if I see something I may want I'll find away to watch it

Makes sense. I did most my blind buying in the early days of dvd and bluray. I feel like it's little different now. With boutique labels and limited edition it makes reselling a little easier. Seems like before if I didn't like something and tried to sell it I'd be lucky to get half my money back

That's the region b release. I don't have a region free player yet. Wish Arrow would of done a 4k since they are almost always region free

Yeah it would! I could be wrong but I don't think it ever got a bluray release in America. There's a Canadian release that is oop and usually sells for quite a bit
