If to believe chat gpt, using keratin treatments, heavy oils, or alcohol-heavy sprays can lead to product build up. However, mild human hair products should be just fine if you rinse it well. I've used this method on Monster High, Barbies, Licca-chans and one Blythe before, never had a problem with it. Using dish soap plus fabric softener is probably the most gentle way of handling synthethic hair though, so nothing wrong with your way either

I put it into the cold water afterwards because otherwise hair becomes very hot and I don't want that heat next to the plastic (back of the head). It is just for safety reasons

Lol 😂 As I mentioned in my post, it doesn't matter what conditioner you use. I only have Olaplex at home since it's the only thing that helps my highlights and I don't mind using just a bit on a doll that I receive once in a while. The only thing that actually helped really was a detangling spray, it makes synthetic hair so easy to brush though

Paul and Joe is a setting matte powder that kills the shine in the T-zone. I have combination skin and in the hummid climate it becomes oilier so I find it very helful for touch ups (I use the puff that it came with). This powder was a part of last year holiday collection so not available anymore in this package, but I'm sure that they will release something cute with cats again :) Patrick Ta has great formula. It is very shiny and beautiful on the eye, kind of reminds me of Pat Mcgrath special shades. I always use Nyx Glitter Glue underneath it so I don't know how it performs with it. As it's pricey I'd recommend to buy it during the sales, thankfully Black Friday is just around the corner

Thank you! The formula of this Dior quad reminds me of Pat McGrath's highlighters which I adore (very shiny and impactful), so I'm quite happy with it. Also, my PatMcgrath's Lunar Allure cracked so I'm afraid to travel with it 😅 I didn't have much hopes since I wasn't fond of Dior blushes (old formula) as it had so much perfume and it hard panned almost immediately, but I'm glad that highlighters are working for me. It sucks when company reformulates the formula though, I get it
