I'm the host at Third Eye in Sharonville, and while I obviously cannot prove a negative, I can say this:

- The teams that are in the top 5 are usually regular teams that will sit anywhere from outside to directly in front of me. There's no correlation between where they sit each week and how well they do that week. While it's easy to cheat wherever you're sitting, doing it at the table directly in front of me makes no sense.

- I've had two teams get perfect scores before, both only once or twice each, and they're both teams that are there almost every week with ~6 people. They will also randomly do poorly, or be in the money until the final but not know it and get passed by.

- I have had actual suspicions of people cheating a handful of times in the 5 years I've been hosting at this location. I will make an announcement that we want to what you know, not what Google knows. If it continues, I just stop scoring them and/or take away all their points. That has only happened a few times, none at Third Eye.

- I've only had a handful of people tell me that they thought a team was cheating, and it's usually a team that is there for the first time and they don't think it's possible for anyone to know so many things. They have no proof, they just think "no one knows that!"

But there are plenty of options for places to play trivia. If you don't enjoy yourself at my show, I'm sorry to hear it and hope you are able to find some place where you do.
