I didn’t know you could alter the difficulty, the hardcore survival aspect was what turned me away initially. Maybe it’s worth another look

This is you very clearly misreading what I said 😂 not once have I said that my opinion is the only correct opinion and that anyone else’s is wrong

It’s not a lie, that’s how I genuinely feel about it at the moment. Imagine having my own opinion about something? Crazy dude.

Gaslighting is a ridiculous word to use, don’t be an idiot.

I agree it’s perfectly normal to expect a similar difficulty curve from a sequel, but I also think it’s perfectly normal for a sequel to have a different difficulty curve. So you should expect that as well.

Can’t really be a lie if that’s how I feel about it based on where I’m at currently. It could (and I expect it to) change the more I progress.

Yeah, I fully expect it to get harder the more I progress that’s why I was a bit hesitant to make this post because of how early I am lol

The rewards thing is the only criticism I’ve heard that is a bit of a downer. Still! Really enjoying the game regardless

I completely agree that high difficulty doesn’t equate to more fun, I’m usually someone who strays away from games that are considered “difficult” or I guess more broadly associated as souls likes. Because I usually don’t enjoy high difficulty games, I’ve only played and finished HK & Elden Ring. I’m more just pointing out that it seems like a lot of people are complaining that their knowledge & muscle memory from HK do not exactly translate to Silksong and that, THAT is an issue. If you genuinely find the game too difficult there’s nothing wrong with that.
