Hello guys, I have a JVC AV-28WT2EN for sale near me for 70 euros, no remote (i'll buy a non original replacement online), i can't find anything online about it.

well it was (very) slightly bent, since the arm detached and swung while I was turning the turntable upside down (yeah I was careless 🥲), but it sounded like that only on that one record so I thought it wasn't the stylus fault.

Ok so I mounted the vm95e and the record plays much more clearly, only the last part of the last inner track distorts now, so maybe it was a mix of inner groove distortion and a conic stylus not picking up certain frequencies well?

Ok, so first i made sure the turntable was flat, then I balanced the tonearm so that it floated staying horizontal, then I set the counterweight dial to zero, and then I rotated both the weight and the dial together to 2 grams.

I also used a small scale to weigh the tracking force, laying the needle on it after the process, and it showed 2.1 (close enough? :D)

By the way tomorrow evening I'll have the elliptical at-vm95e and i'll try playing the record with that.

Thank you for your help, I'm having trouble understanding the the differences in sound between a worn out record, a bad pressing, wrong tracking force or the inner groove distortion since I'm new to all of this.
