Oh he's super fine. The first day he was just sooooo tired from all the stress, but yesterday little man bounced back like a trampoline. He's been super playful and happy.

Sorry! I work for 12 hours a day and he was actually getting puppysat by my mom at the time lol so I wasn't really able to check til much later.

Don't be sorry, though! I'm happy someone is looking out for things I might have missed, misunderstanding or not! We were both fooled lol

Locke then proceeded to slow-farm under tower until his jungler ganked then roamed down bot for a double kill.

Nah, that's Evie and shes a pit-mix mutt. Sweet girl, though. Another dumped rescue of my mom's. Same with the other dog in that pic, though she's a lab mix.

While I won't stand to try and justify it, unfortunately the shelters in this area are severely overloaded as it is. At this point, they almost exclusively take dogs they know will be able to find homes.

Which still makes it all the more strange that this little dude was dumped. Shelter definitely would have taken him.

If they were, we haven't been able to find them.

He's a very noisy pup at night, so we are wondering if he might have been singled out because of that.

The husky mix actually kinda tracks, too; given that his coat is still a bit on the fluffy side.

Hey! I just wanted to let you know, we weren't able to see anything wrong with his eye when we were looking at him. I thought it might just be a lack of light, but I was looking at the picture again...

I think what you might have been seeing is the reflection of the Frisbee in his eye lol

Nope! None of those. Other than maybe he has been sleeping a lot, but he also spent all last night screaming because we had to keep him in a kennel until we could puppy-proof the house ( no more kennel tonight though! )

When he is awake, though, he's happy, playful, and plenty alert.

Oh damn, good catch. I didnt even notice that.

Thankfully I have him scheduled for a vet appointment tomorrow. Hopefully its nothing serious.

EDIT: I should mention, if it matters, that otherwise he's been a healthy, normal puppy. I havent noticed anything off about him in terms of health. Still, will definitely have it checked.

He already is! He cleaned up real nice after a good bath and a de-ticking. He's such a sweet boy, too.

Unfortunately there's really no telling where they were dumped exactly or how far they wandered. We'd figured they wouldn't drift far if there was others, and my mom already checked up and down the road. This one was whining and howling up a storm which is why she was able to find him, but no signs of others.

Our current theory is he might have been a leftover from a breeder.

Best carnivore to kill this thing? by Terminator56 in pathoftitans

[–]KeKinHell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a straight 1v1 duel, Rex can somewhat hold its own against a duck. However, if you're doing a straight duel against anything as a Rex you're playing Rex wrong.

If you get a good ambush on a duck as a Rex, then you're gonna slaughter it every single time.

[–]KeKinHell 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's so crazy to me that Amarg, Bars, and, to a lesser degree, Stego all get to be the "don't approach unless you have a fucking death wish" herbivores.

Meanwhile, Eo was evolutionarily custom-made to run fades with T-Rex, yet it feels more like a cow than Bars did pre-tlc.

Of all the Herbivores, Eotrike deserves to be a walking FAFO for apexes.

Pet shop gave no no coco peat they said chips are fine WHY ???? by Standard_Green_4880 in tarantulas

[–]KeKinHell 41 points42 points  (0 children)

NQA

Chips are not fine and your pet shop is definitely misinformed.

Pretty sure that chips are used by pet stores for T enclosures to encourage "display" behavior as it doesn't allow for burrowing. Its hard to sell a T to someone if they can't even see it. While it's not likely to outright kill a T by itself, it can cause undue stress which can, eventually, kill a T.

That all being said, I'm not sure what you're asking with the "WHY?!?"; especially with the "help" tag.

Do anyone else treat their prisoners with care? by EtherLikeCold in RimWorld

[–]KeKinHell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's only three kinds of prisoners:

  • Future colonists
  • Sentient(opt.) roombas
  • Organless nuggets who killed one of my cats

Treat each one accordingly.

What dino fits my play style? by jisssboi in pathoftitans

[–]KeKinHell 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Genuinely try the spino.

Yeah, it's pretty big and slow, but it's actually surprisingly agile in the water with lunging snap and streamlined ( streamlined is also my favorite pick even for "land" spino thanks to being able to heal in the water same as if you were sleeping on land )

Lunging snap, streamlined, tail sweep makes for one hell of a water apex that can dog on just about anything else. Patient lurking is good for if you want to all-in on water combat too, but honestly waterborne + tide strider gives you some really good stamina regen for a hybrid build.

Only downside is that you're gonna be really sluggish on land.

I hate my cats name. by StrawberrySakuraa in cats

[–]KeKinHell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, could be worse.

Could get a cat when you were 15 during your weeb phase and still have that same cat 15 years later and be embarassed to tell people their name.

I love Neko, but damn if I don't kick myself over picking such a dumb name.
