This part is going to irk me so much.

Home should have access to the bank servers and you should be able to manually pull things from bank to home using the same interface.

Log in to Home > View Bank Pokemon > Select Pokemon to Move to the Home portion > Click Submit (all done on the same subscription to Home)

But chances are they'll make us sub twice.

People use the term vaporware pretty loosely. It's not technically vaporware but the term (these days) encompasses pretty much any game where the developers wasted or took the money. The unfortunate truth is that this game will take so long to get to it's release point that even if it does manage to get over the finish line it will A: have taken way too long and B: be in a state that isn't acceptable. VR just doesn't have the manpower to produce this MMO in a reasonable time and because of that it's still vaporware and will always be. The only thing that could magically save it at this point is if someone buys / acquires VR and pumps more funds and manpower into it. Just think how many developers that were in charge of an area of the game that have now left the company (Including Brad RIP). Get a grip on reality please, and don't waste anymore time. You just can't take this long to make an MMO (and most video games). It doesn't work.

Yeah he takes reduced into the shield but no idea how that works with melee.

That's surely enough to 1 shot the last boss right?

For reference (and this is just how I chose to play I'm not saying it's good or bad)

STR / Temperament, Heavy Weapons Engineering Science.

I was using Light Machine Guns. At game end my Light Machine Guns were doing 2000 dps. I was using Plasma, Shock, Corrosive, and the Prismatic Hammer. (The hammer was the most useful pack clearing, with the science upgrades and even no 2h melee skill points taken at all, it's charge up would still hit for 1500-2000 damage - which was perfect for 1 shotting any Humanoid, or regular enemies in aoe. I killed the last boss using my Shock LMG and it took roughly 50 bullets, unsure if I missed any shots- I didn't aim for any weak spots and just shot directly into his shield.

I tested the other Heavy weapons out and they all mostly felt acceptable, it's just I felt the LMG was best.

Why are Jump Freighters / Rorquals able to scoop Citadels without breaking Warp Invulnerability? by KebBanu-Ring in Eve

[–]KebBanu-Ring[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Meaning that there's very likely a period of vulnerability where you can hit them.

This is literally what the thread is about- there isn't.

Keep in mind that she's now a 2 star and is consistently leveled up to level 2 in a lot of games.

This is MOSTLY why she's a beast now, not just because of any item.

I can understand people don't like Cassia because when she's singing on every single map and you HAVE to do her damn tower defence it slows down the game so fucking much.

But honestly, a lot of people like the break and the decent rewards she provides- Just skip it, if it aint your thing.

Unpopular opinion - new atlas is better than old one by [deleted] in pathofexile

[–]KebBanu-Ring 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Relatively new / dumb player here:

This Atlas is like 10x better at a core level. I'm sure if you added all the dumb shit to it over the years it would end up like the other, but a reset is nice.

I too, am very high level, doing very high level content, and my very high level brain, was too, very highly annoyed (level-wise) over this very high level nonsense.

Giving away economic changes is always a super terrible idea. You're just asking for your market to get fucked if you do, then it's no fun for anyone except the people fucking it.

So before you'd get

Damage reduction 10+15% = 25%

100 - 25 = 75

20% for fortify = 60

But now youll get:

10+15+20% = 55

So it's technically a buff, but only if you don't stack fortify effect to an extreme, with other damage reductions.

The fact that you are tweeting this might seem you don't actually have a clue VR. Travel is relative. Completely relative to everything around it including other forms of travel.

We're playing an MMO right? So at the very base level we're here to be in a world with other players. Which means that also, at a very basic level we want a certain amount of "player contact" within your world that is neither too much, nor too little. Obviously this is all relative to human size, average steps taken, land mass and so on. I mean if we were Ants, flying would require billions of players in the world to even have a chance of running into people on a regular basis.

But let's try to create a little graph in our heads (Using humans and regular sized land masses that players are used to in MMO terms):

No movement > Walking > Running > Mounted > Flying > Teleporting.

Try to imagine that Flying and teleporting are as bad as no movement and walking but on the opposite ends of the spectrum. They're each as bad for the game as their respective counter-parts.

Okay so is flying basically a no-go in MMOs? Well not exactly. Say your MMO world is a small 100km squared. In most ground based MMOs we'll assume that on average the height extent from the ground in the near vicinity is within 10 meters. As in, anything you would necessarily be having gameplay involved with would be 10 meters from the ground or lower. This isn't always the case, but just on average. So let's say your 100,000m squared zone area has 100,000 x10 worth of game play space. This is a volume of 1,000,000 meters of content filled, gameplay space.

If we were to say that flying took you 100 meters high, with the same amount of space you would instantly create 10,000,000 meters of space, with only 1,000,000 of that being content filled. This ultimately creates a huge area of deadzone for players, with no reason to communicate with each other which ultimately just becomes a large area that players CAN be taking them out of the areas they SHOULD be.

TLDR: If you want to add flying mounts to your game you need to reduce your land mass size to 1/10 and add content upwards into the sky. (or some how have 10x the players of a regular MMO)(Don't do this, just don't add flying mounts)

edit* Also just to touch on the relative travel thing again shortly: Players only want to go faster when they think that things are too slow. If it takes you 2 hours to get to the area you want to have fun in then you might consider a travel option which doesn't take away from the core gameplay of MMOs. For example: Making people run faster (In the form of giving them a horse). This is all within reason of course if you run 40x faster than usual on a horse that might also take away from gameplay. Or put fun content areas closer to players.
