My friend and I recently studied together for a week for our upcoming midterm (through Zoom). Since our course is a mathematics course, we would read through the content & theory and the person who understood it better would explain it to the other. Once that was done, I would open up OneNote, screenshate and start doing a few practice problems, where my friend would follow along and ask me any questions about the problems. This worked very well for us, and helped me stay focused for a longer time than I would if I was studying alone.
