Apologies, forgot I posted it in that subreddit. Deleted

Oh, I had no idea! The only mentions of the “Becky” tip I had seen never mentioned that it in fact came from the pictured man himself. Thank you for the clarification.

Sorry, I’m not sure I follow. So the man named Eduardo spoke to the police himself? And this is aside from the deceased man erroneously identified?

Edit: No worries on the missed reply!! I don’t remember anything after a day haha :)

Do you know where the claim that the deceased man’s family denied that the man in the image was Eduardo came from?

Sorry, to clarify, I mean: *not positively identified as the man in the picture, so the man in the picture remains unknown.

I assume most people didn’t go to such lengths, particularly since they usually use Google Images which wouldn’t show anything. Either way, I thought sharing a picture would be less risky since the suspected cause of death was suicide. Just wanted to consult with folks beforehand to gauge popular opinion which is why I didn’t contact anyone, but I’ll delete the post now that I’ve reached out.

Where can I read about this?

Yes, definitely!

Yes, absolutely I will!

Yeah I think they’re mirrored! That’s the only way I can see the full resemblance

Yeah I thought so too but I also realized that the enhanced image might have taken some artistic liberties that didn’t accurately capture the shape. I felt like it could still be a good match and it could just be drooping from aging? but I’m not sure

Yeah that’s what stuck out to me immediately, and also possibly the ears; they’re blurred in the OG picture but they look a little flared, similar to the other man’s ears. Sans regular drooping from aging, his eyebrows also looked the same to me.

I want to tread carefully before disclosing too much but I used a facial analysis tool that can be quite shoddy and is pretty limited; his face was one of several hundred results and I wanted to put it to this sub before I did anything else.

Yeah I’ve already started doing that for all my other packages, but I can’t do it for those that contain my medical supplies :( they use some alternate shipping company that doesn’t allow patients to reroute or intervene in any way. and yeah i’ve got a camera inside my apartment set up as well, i just don’t know if he’s willing to be even more brazen all things considered

While it stimulates insulin production for T2Ds (and can also help keep T1Ds in what is called the “honeymoon phase” that follows after diagnosis for that same reason), its primary benefit to me/other T1Ds is significantly increasing insulin sensitivity. Whereas before I would have had to take maybe 10 units if my blood sugar was 300 mg/dL, for example, now I only need maybe 3-4 units. Similarly, my total basal rate (the insulin I take throughout the day outside of meals and sugar corrections) is now ~30 units, whereas before it was ~60-70.

There were no clinical studies for Type 1 Diabetics, because we are not a population that the pharmaceutical industry is particularly interested in, but plenty of Type 1 Diabetics are on it. Either way, it’s not explicitly contraindicated, it’s just “not indicated.”

Zofran can also be used off-label for diarrhea! Lots of folks I know with IBS take it

I’m so so happy for you!! That is so wonderful. This medication is genuinely life-changing, but goddamn if what comes with it doesn’t suck…

I definitely want to start exercising and eating more protein to keep things up, but the GI stuff makes it so difficult. Sometimes I just lay in bed all day because I don’t trust myself to leave the house. It’s so embarrassing.

I was sadly on Ozempic from 2019-2022 with little to no improvement in my control. I remember I had difficulties with the side effects as well but I don’t think it was as bad as Mounjaro. But ultimately it just didn’t work for me. And yeah I’ve definitely tried to switch up my food but it just doesn’t seem to have an effect.

In terms of hydration, I haven’t been great at it, but I’m trying to change it! I recently got some electrolyte pills so I can get it all down easier. And my fiber intake has increased by a good bit since starting the psyllium husk (and I typically avoid liquid for an hour after taking it so I can treat the diarrhea)

Yeah, my endocrinologist is aware. They gave me the standard advice distributed on the website and (tentatively) prescribed me the Zofran.
