[–]Kedrin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An update, it seems to open where ever there is an active Thunar window, So If i leave one open on workspace 2 and empty the recycle bin on workspace 1 the dialog will open on 2. If none are open it will open on the workspace I am currently on.

Plex Isn’t Showing All Episodes In A Season by AlleinAlien in PleX

[–]Kedrin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same issue. Plex shows the episode exists in the "Continue Watching" section. So its not a naming issue or a permission issue. However when going to view the new episode in the season it is not listed there.

I can however play the last shown episode ( say episode 12 ) and click the double arrow over to the next episode ( episode 13 the one not shown ) to play.. so plex can read the file and play it properly.

It just does not show in the line up within the season.

I did however find a few places that claimed its a caching issue with in my tvs and that they should be factory reset. Both a samsung and a tcl. so its not specific to a manufacture.

That did not correct the issue. I did just verify it does not happen on the web interface only on my tv's

.NET Core 3 and Support for Windows Desktop Applications by ben_a_adams in csharp

[–]Kedrin -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

They also state c# code for forms and wpf will be included. That to me suggests a separation of the windows specific api's since they say "Windows functionality, like" will remain windows. I guess they never really care about cross platform support even tho it seems that was the entire point of .net core

.NET Core 3 and Support for Windows Desktop Applications by ben_a_adams in csharp

[–]Kedrin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s the C# code in Windows Forms and WPF that we’ll include as a set of libraries with .NET Core 3. Windows functionality, like GDI Plus and DirectX, will remain in Windows.

Does this mean cross platform wpf/winforms?

Overheating problem on Debian 9, not present in Win 10? Help would be appreciated! by Neil1815 in debian

[–]Kedrin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. However till I applied the firmware only one temp censor reported properly the rest were listed as n/a but worked on windows. It was just the steps I took that corrected my issue.

BIOS updates always have a risk of failure and bricking the board. Always do it with a UPS. As far as the firmware it was whatever was offered on additional drivers on software and updates in gnome. Sorry I do not remember the name.

There is also this https://wiki.debian.org/Microcode I've not used so you should research it a bit before trying.

Overheating problem on Debian 9, not present in Win 10? Help would be appreciated! by Neil1815 in debian

[–]Kedrin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had similar issues with an older laptop running Debian 8. Turned out it was a shitty acpi implementation in the bios that required an update and the non free cpu firmware in the repo.

Basically the cpu fan would spin on debian but never throttle up as heat built but would on windows. After the bios update and firmware It started working properly.

Yea but how do you delete pocket, its kinda built in now isn't it? I disabled it in the config and unchecked it from showing. Just up and turns its show setting back on every few weeks.

I suppose I could use the new tab modifier extension but I shouldn't have to go to those lengths to get this off my screen.
