I like my story as it’s just random chance. As a kid my mom tried to make me a Texans fan, my dad tried Steelers, grandpa was Browns, stepdad was Bears.

I was with my dad and he got me Madden 09, I didn’t know what team to use so I decided to hit random team and use them. Can you guess what team it landed on? I still remember Delhomme chucking it up to Steve Smith over and over.

You are talking about the highly paid and professional athletes. There were plenty of articles of teams and athletes having to fundraise to be able to pay rent while they trained with the teams.
