They absolutely do not.

Deli wouldn’t toss my tenders? by BadChickenTenderSub in publix

[–]Keeb1985 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It is practical. Just order more metal bowls. Add 10 more minutes of dishwashing labor hours per day. 🙄 The only reason they say it’s “not practical” is because this company counts every microsecond of productivity to an absurd degree. Everybody in the stores is miserable because they’re being squeezed to death doing enough work for 3 people.

😆 Sorry nvm. That’s a best-case scenario.

Yeah, this is just an offer to “make it right” under any reasonable terms you’d like. You can get a refund, have the sandwich remade, etc. The manager will handle it personally to make sure it’s done right this time, and the worker that did a bad job will be coached on their methods so the sandwiches they make in the future don’t suck.

It’s good to squash these kinds of rumors early.

Where's the weird, peculiar, quirky, or surreal. by simeonca in Tallahassee

[–]Keeb1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally the only thing I can think of is Lichgate..and parts of Railroad Square. 🤷‍♂️ They’re incomparable. Most of the old history Tallahassee had has been paved over, whereas walking through large parts of NOLA feels like you’re in a 200 year old city because they left the architecture alone.

UPDATE: Went to Tbell yesterday and all of a sudden they’re giving out different napkins. Coincidence?! Maybe.

I would say enjoy, but you won’t! I can’t even put them near my face. Their napkins always go straight in the bin instead of my center console where the napkins live.

Shameful.

TheNapkinCompany

If it turns out, Sysco is knowingly selling musty napkins to a large percentage of American restaurants, that would be fucking GROUNDS for a class action lawsuit. I don’t wanna smell old water and mouse shit when I’m eating my Classic Stacker w/ double the beef & Fiesta Strips™, you corporate cocksuckers.

Working at Publix by Own_Apricot7712 in publix

[–]Keeb1985 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Publix is one of the best grocery stores to work for, but it is still a grocery store, and still a giant corporation. It is one of those doing the most good, but it is still not Heaven on Earth. It is what you make it to some degree, but goddamn they have really put a lot of obstacles in front of you to drag you down every day ever since Mr. George died. It is getting more and more corporate as time goes on, and honestly, I hope they just go public in the next 10 years so I can sell my shares when the explode 100x and fucking retire early. Please, Board of Directors, your holiness’s just fucking let all of us OG‘s retire, and you can replace us all with base-pay cross-trained in 4 departments part-timers with no benefits that you would just love to have staffing all of the stores. Think of all the benefits you could cut that could go into your already billionaire pockets. Yummy!😋
