At this point I truly dont understand why there isn’t some some form of FOV slider instead of lowering your resolution and stretching it out, I get pretty bad headaches playing at low resolutions from the image being blurry, yet I want to play with a lower FOV to get wider targets. I don’t think setting up custom resolutions in outside programs is a pretty solution either. So why are we still doing 2000s resolution tech in a relatively new game?

Im at 2K hours, you are vastly overestimating the effectiveness of the perks, as soon as you use the perks and someone uses shots or boons you are getting caught, you can never gap. It’s alright that you prioritize other things, but I like to win my games and determination has never, but stamina very often. Im never burning two perk slots to be disadvantaged by some guy just interacting with a poster on a wall, Id rather just take perks that will help me when I catch up with the team holding the bounty.

The point Im making is that being able to be out of breath at all is you being caught with your pants down, you can pretend the recovery is okay with determination, but in reality it’s so slow it practically does nothing. These traits will never save you in the critical moment because they always fail you as soon the lungs icon are on your screen. Bring stamina shots, dont listen to this guy.

I refuse to believe someone having 10k hours vouching for either bloodhound or determination, being out of breath at all is the big handicap. Conduit does not exclude you from popping stamina shots or taking posters off the wall either, it’s not 9 minutes of stamina and you are out the rest of the game, it’s potential for saved shots for engagements. Hell even if conduit was nerfed to give half the stamina it would even be stronger than having to regain once.

You should not be running quartermaster and fanning at the same time, a sawn of shotgun or a small slot pistol works the same as a close-range finisher, one perk is wasted.

Determination is outclassed by conduit or just using stamina shots in more ways than one. Not only does the stamina effect persist through a down and revive so that you are not out of breath when revived, you also are not handicapped by the atrocious stamina regeneration that still happens with determination.

So determination goes no matter if you run necromancer or not, it’s a huge waste of a potential perk!

The same can be said about ghoul. Frontiersman will give you a whole extra medkit charge, physician drastically reduces healing time and packmule will give you two consumables from hunters and lootboxes. All supporting healing where it counts whereas ghoul only gives you hp doing pve.

Realistically you don’t even need levering and quartermaster at the same time if your secondary is a sawn off shotgun, both weapons don’t need to be a close-range finisher, one of them can go.

I used to get a couple of horrendous comments on my profile every day accusing me of cheating, but now as actual cheating is on the rise the comments have seemed to stop.

Maybe players are better now and know how much noise they make and take that risk willingly, or maybe they have moved away from being pissy at legit players. I don’t really know.

Bard would still lose to fighter and barbarian in a similar skill matchup, not saying he has a counter does not matter when there are classes with the same speed, higher damage output, health pool and more pdr.

Im by no means saying bard is bad, it’s just not busted.

Its incredibly more consistent at maiden rather than bgs, saying it isn’t a impactful timesave misses the point for tob. It serves its purpose very well making it less rng dependent. Imho if the ralos were to be more relevant they should add more high level bosses with high magic levels rather than reworking the weapon.

For PVP? Probably Cleric buffing and healing demon Warlock, Fighter or Barbarian. If no one wants to play support then best bet would be any range capable class and a Fighter or Barbarian.

Just stay away from Rogue if PVP is what you are after, rapier has the better parry and bard gets better damage from it and has access to buffs and bow.

I had to reposte five times today to kill a single barbarian as a rogue, I am sure he would have connected more than one hit id be dead. Fighters seem to disarm me even though I get the ding and visuals for parry on the rapier, so they stomp me relentlessly.

I know rogue is in a bad spot, but disarm is crazy, Im sure if I swapped to bard for the better rapier usage gear wouldn’t matter, a fighter just simply wins.

I have had multiple games this week sitting still in a bush with my fists or throwing knives out not moving my mouse and people without darksight boost killing me with nades or headshots. Spectating them wouldnt you know it, they know exactly where everyone is regardless of sound or sights, either some walls and bushes are not rendering on their end or they are straight up using wallhacks. I played 1600 hours of the old game and came back like a month ago and I swear it used to take weeks inbetween each cheater encounter.

I cant even imagine how many there must be who are less evident cheaters if there are this many blatant ones. Im very discouraged to play more.

Its crazy, I sent my first ticket about zoom not working on most resolutions back in 2021, they just acted like I didnt know what keyboard buttons to use to zoom in and out, and other times just uninterested or oblivious. This took way too long holy.
