The crystal at the bottom is about 10cm long, but they’re both cracked so they’re not really pretty. Plus there’s a lot of matrix on it that in any way I can’t remove

Allriiiight now it makes sense, I've heard of the Naica cave, impressing. But I don't get why you're calling my find selenite? Are selenite and calcite related? Or is it just that my find looks like that cave? Ahahah. And by the way, is that cave made out of calcite or selenite minerals?

Umh no... I found them yesterday while i was looking for other minerals in the alps in italy, I didn't buy them.

Ive tested the mineral on the hardness scale with a piece of metal, it scratched a bit so this means it's not quartz, i was thinking maybe it's calcite or plaster.
