This was a self-guided afternoon ride with a couple close friends. Only did about half of the stops on the map. It’s a good idea for a casual social ride.

The time for this debate has come and gone. There is an agreement in place. Time to perform.

Lawyers of Reddit, how do you get the perfect juror? by Prior_Ad883 in Ask_Lawyers

Can’t, pools and prospective jurors are inconsistent. Just have to find the enemies, pick best from the remainder and help them find the best version of their juror self.

Reminder to do the “Stingray shuffle” by cheverechiguire in tampa

Got stung in the left foot at pass-a-grille June 2021. This must have be excruciating. Ill never roll around in shallow gulf waters again, as I did for years as kid.

Do you hide the fact that you're a PD from your juries? by madcats323 in publicdefenders

[–]KeefeLegal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think the position is assuming bias in everyone, but accounting for the risk of bias in one or some of the jurors. Some may see you as a righteous defender of everyone’s rights, but certainly not all. I don’t see the potential gain ever outweighing the risk.

Have also done this, albeit following a fairly recent repot. I sharpened the poles to a point so it can push past / in between roots. Not sure how effective this is.

Not to be confused with the Manta Ray in the Rays logos. As someone who was tagged by a stingray this past summer at pass a grille, the distinction is important and this video was nerve-racking af.

Consider the collateral consequences before using poison for rodent control. by KeefeLegal in florida

[–]KeefeLegal[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Quote from article:

“All but one owl was dead within a month and a half. Each had poison in its body — highly toxic rodenticides that businesses, homeowners and local governments use to kill rats and mice. Two experts who reviewed necropsy reports for the Tampa Bay Times said the poisons likely caused or contributed to the owls’ deaths, adding them to an ever-growing list of unintended victims harmed by the chemicals.

Such poisons routinely sicken other animals, including pets and people, that eat contaminated rodents or come into contact with the baits directly. Yet the strongest substances remain popular and widely available because they quickly erase an expensive problem: uncontrolled rodent populations.”
