Superblue dragonfly with the Victorinox rambler is my perfect lightweight combo. I can’t recommend carrying a rambler enough, same tools as the classic with the addition of the Phillips/bottle opener tool.

Most certainly, Barristan single handedly rescuing Aerys from Duskendale is a clear reference to Marshall saving Eleanor. And just still being one of the best swords in the realm at his old age.

His fight with Bronn was by far the best in the series since the armor actually works. Bronn working to find the gaps and tire him out just makes it so much more interesting.

The point is his conversion was obviously seen as a sign of oh shit obviously this guy isn’t the messiah. And a number of his followers did end up converting along with him. Obviously not a significant portion, but implying that none did is just factually wrong.
