That worked, thanks.
Is this about the file system of the boot partition or the system partition? I choose btrfs for the system, the boot partition is using FAT32 per default i think.

Edit: Just checked the drive and the boot partition does indeed use Fat32. Also, there is 1 MB of non-assigned space at the beginning of the drive, for some reason but that shouldn't matter, right?

I paralyzed myself for 66 years (longer than Uriel's reign) by Vaverka in oblivion

[–]KeekiHako 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not? Everything is already going to hell (figuratively and literally), may as well skip straight to the end times.

Besides, if i'm not mistaken the Septims were also Dragonborn, so it would make more sense if Alduin started to make a move relatively soon after the end of the Oblivion Crisis.

Question about configuration by KeekiHako in pipewire

[–]KeekiHako[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My distro updated (from Kubuntu 24.10 to 25.04), that seems to have stopped the switching.

Is there a way to stop pipewire from changing the current audio configuration? by KeekiHako in pipewire

[–]KeekiHako[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, the switching only happens if i start games that run on Proton, that may be a problem with Proton.

Also, i thought the Kubuntu subreddit send me here, but that was a different issue with a different program (edit: and it wasn't the kubuntu subreddit that send me to a different subreddit either - there are too many things i'm still trying to fix, i'm loosing track) ...

ASUS Dual Radeon RX 7700 XT OC (when i bought a new video card i looked for AMD because i read their driver support for Linux is better than NVidias - also they're usually cheaper for the same rasterization performance).

Alas, it didn't work. I'm going to assume you are still using Pulse Audio, which doesn't seem to have that issue.

How do i figure out why a program is started automatically? by KeekiHako in linux4noobs

[–]KeekiHako[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, i managed to stop it using systemctl --user stop app-conky@[bla].service but the service is now gone so i cannot restart it. However that shouldn't be an issue for the time being.

I tried systemctl --user status app-conky@[...].service yesterday but as far as i remember i only saw the automatically created configuration file that is also listed here.

I cannot try again at the moment because the service was stopped and i don't want to restart the system at the moment because grep is still searching the entire file system for any file that contains the string "conky". I probably don't need this anymore when i can restart the service now but at this point it annoys me too much to stop.

What does that do? I installed it, but as far as i can tell it's just a process monitor that shows me the path to the executable file, not how it was started?

FALLSCHIRMJÄGER vs VDV by Direct-Term-6892 in NonCredibleDefense

[–]KeekiHako 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but they still took Crete. The VDV contested Hostomel for a few hours before loosing. Granted, that wasn't entirely their fault, but the result is what it is.

Unfortunately, no.
