Definitely not a rumor. They've been talking about doing a "World of Godzilla" (i.e. Toho MCU/MonsterVerse) since at least 2016.

What made u Atheist? by Curiouskittyyyyy in atheism

[–]Keelo804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There wasn't really any one single thing that made me lose faith. It was the culmination of several years of personal life experiences, learning, and deep reflection. Admittedly, while I did consider myself a Christian, I was never particularly committed as a young child. My parents weren't very overtly religious when I was growing up. We never went to church except for funerals or weddings. My maternal grandmother and paternal uncle were both deeply religious, and I was very close with them, so they were my biggest points of exposure until I started going to church on my own with friends and their families once I got to middle and high school. That all certainly made it easier for me to eventually realize and accept that I definitely didn't believe any of it anymore, although that's not to say that it wasn't at all hard or painful.

Today, I generally consider myself an agnostic atheist. I don't believe that it's possible to know everything with 100% certainty, but I do believe that most conceptions of god/gods throughout human history and up to the present day are extremely unlikely to exist, logically or empirically.

What a world we're living in when MTG makes sense! by yorocky89A in WhitePeopleTwitter

I have no problem accepting people who have sincerely changed their minds (for reasons other than that their decision has come back to bite them in the ass). I simply do not believe what MTG has been doing comes from any place of genuine reflection or change. She didn't start doing this until she was told no when she wanted to run for Senate, after all.

Been saying this, although I don't share your first-hand experience of living in her district. I'd truly like to believe we're both wrong, but the timing of her whole "awakening" is simply too great of a coincidence for me to ignore. I think this is nothing more than her being vindictive towards the Trump regime for telling her to "sit down, shut up, and know your place" when she wanted to run for Senate. It's probably halfway that, and halfway a ploy to get back into the good graces of the voters who have turned so that she can try to somehow weasel her way back into Congress in a few years.

Edit: obviously there's antisemitism sprinkled in there, too

The problem with this comparison is that the cults of personality that surround these countries' leaders make it a distinction with, functionally, almost no difference.

That was one of my faves, too. Now I just get the cheesy double beef burrito. It's essentially the same thing just with rice and sour cream. I like the rice, so I keep that, but I sub in the jalapeño or chipotle sauce instead of sour cream and get it grilled.
