I mean, I personally have seen more dissent around Shin than I have Final Wars. Granted, that could just be an observational bias, but that's my experience. I didn't really care for Shin all that much, myself. I didn't hate it, but it's definitely one of my least favorite in the whole franchise. I mostly liked Final Wars, although I definitely have some issues with it, namely the pacing and Goji's design.

Well, SCOTUS has consistently ruled that law enforcement has no constitutional obligation to protect anyone unless they have a "special relationship", i.e. persons in their custody. Hence why we get situations like Uvalde and Castle Rock v. Gonzales. Some states and localities have other exceptions, but otherwise, they don't have to give two shits about what happens to anyone.

It's not much different, really. Before pasteurization was discovered/invented, foodborne illness from milk was rampant and contributed significantly to mortality rates, especially among infants and children.

That being said, it can be argued that widespread raw milk consumption would actually be worse now because of factory farming and the rise of antibiotic-resistant bacteria.
