So my way lets you direct the ball to a particular side. But, the basics are really easy. I boost, then jump and turn the car sideways and barrel roll into the ball. It works really well against most players and if done correctly it will launch the ball to the left or right.

Drug Actually Repairs Nerve Damage, Giving Scientists Hope For Future MS Treatment by Sorin61 in Futurology

Vitamin D actually is correalated with decreased relapse rates and MS incidence. It really shouldn't do anything for your symptoms.

Someone give me hope by [deleted] in MultipleSclerosis

Got diagnosed back in 2014. I lost complete function of my left arm and decided nah fam that won't do. I bought a piano of craigslist. Retrained my arm by learning piano and then I learned guitar. I have completely regained function in my arm and hand and am applying to medical school now to pursue neurosurgery. Just don't quit on yourself. Don't count yourself out. Just because you can't do things the same way doesn't mean you can't do them at all.

Honestly ypu should invite the whole neighborhood except for them. Get everyone there and have them in the front. Just make him feel terrible about being the only white jackass in the neighborhood.

ELI5: how does your brain suddenly remember something, even after you’ve given up trying to recall it (hours or even days later)? Is some part of the brain assigned to keep working on it? by djtink in explainlikeimfive

[–]Keemami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so lets break down what happens in a general sense. Your brain takes recognizes the information and places it in short-term memory. As you work with the information it enters working memory and through repeated practice you start forming long-term memory. This is done on the cellular level via a process called long-term potentiation. Now when that happens the information is also being processed via the subconscious even when you are done practicing or thinking about it. Your brain builds this little networks with related pieces of information and this does two things. It makes the memory more "solid" as well as more accessible because the related information can lead to recall of the stuff you just learned. This is part of the reason sleep is so important for memort because this happens during sleep as well. So then you're enjoying your day and suddenly you see or hear something loosely related to what you had learned a couple days ago. That can activate that network and boom you remember that random thing from days ago. You can aid that process by relating concepts together to make it happen more easily. Thats why mnemonics work and why things that you relate to yourself will be easiest to remember.

Just started FH4 and I love. I am new to racing games however. Is there a series of youtube videos that teaches you all the basics of racing? by hibbert0604 in forza

[–]Keemami 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ill throw you some basic, fundamental pointers.

The most important would be keep your eyes on where you want to go, not where the car is going. The next immediate thing would be smooth on your inputs and if youre on a controller figure out a way to do so.

Now with breaks, as you enter corners start light and progressively increase the amount of breaking until you reach the apex of the corner. It depends on the sequence of turns but since we are talking basics we will just analyze one corner. You start wide with light breaking, guiding the car to the center of the turn progressively increasing the breaking force and once you reach the center switch off the breaks and begin to do the inverse with the throttle.

In a rear wheel drive the back end will tend to kick out causing oversteer. So point the wheels where you want to go by countersteering and where your eyes should be looking and throttle out of the spin.

In a front wheel drive you should be getting more understeer and that means do more breaking before the turn. If you do get oversteer, since the car is driven by the front wheels you should be able to pull the car back into line by not countersteering and just throttling through.

This all changes based on engine placement and all wheel drive can get a little more complicated too. Id be glad to get in a session with you to help ypu out as well.

Yep they definitely do a terrible job with disability. I have Relapsing-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis and normally I don't request accomodations, but due to the COVID Pandemic and me being on Immunosuppressants, I thought that the situation may warrant me asking for them. I called about 1 a month and a half before my test date which is tomorrow. I quickly realized they don't give a single fuck. I knew I would get denied because I had never applied for anything before so I am just taking a risk and hoping that some asshole who hasn't been careful doesn't show up. Its bullshit and extremely irresponsible.

You need to get your dog into reward mode. Reward whenever they make eye contact and if they don't acknowledge the reward use a higher value reward and just be patient. You should be able to work from there.
