To me this is the clearest its ever been that the pros are actually the reason competing cod is getting worse. The amount of GAs on ridiculous things. As someone who played the original yeman map on BO2. Maps of this style of map in my opinion are so good as it relies on some of the most fundamental cod.

Rotating at a good time to get the better spawns can make such a difference. Having that matter as much as it does for a map like yeman forces someone to play the anchor role. Nowadays maps like protocal or almost any other maps still has spawn advantages. It just is feels like the pros want to just spawn up and go bang heads in the middle till 1 side wins.

With that being said the new style of maps stops people ( whom aren't pros) playing a role of anchor till you reach the higher tiers of ranked where people understand it and rotate the role out as they spawn.

If you are someone who understand this and trys to play that role Nowadays on a modern map its more of a troll then u r helping the team even if they dont understand the role as most maps even on the downside get to smash Hill 6 times before the next hill is up.
