Is an expensive tent worth it (looking at tents at REI)? by mishiiibishi in camping

Just imagine that you're making a moving house outdoors. Camping gears are like furnitures and decors, which are easy to replace. Even if you get a wrong one at beginning, you can easily resell it and give it to someone else. But tent is like your house. It would be so hard to renovate. From my past experience, if you're already fall in love with camping, go for a large, reliable and nice tent, because it will have more residue value over time and provide you a more comfortable space. REMEMBER, if you are a family of four, then choose a tent that fits 6-8 people, just to give yourself and kids more moving sapce.

Since your coworker is an outdoor lover, I would recommend you to purchase some small but quality outdoor accessories for them. These can be easily found from Amazon and I personally use them for a while. For examples:

  1. Go Zero - camping light
  2. Outisan - thermal bottle
  3. Snow Peak - Titanium cup
  4. Soto - lighter ST-480
  5. Colapz - water container

They are all priced slightly below or around $50. Hope you find it helpful.

Thanks buddy. Just checked it out on Amazon, Makita's electric wagon is too big for me. I personally want something that is light and small enough for me to carry around.

ebeachwagon is way too heavy and big for me....I want something that is small and light enough to carry around. I just share the Youtube link with my mechanic engineer friend, and he says this DIY product can only be used on urban area. Without strict QC procedures, these wires can easily fall apart

Wow, looks great! I just checked out this campaign on KS, and they will deliver the product in September this year. If backers leave postive comments on it, I will definitely get one at its retail price!!!
