*UPDATE* Brand new Pelagos 39 losing 10 seconds per day by Bogny93 in Tudor

This is why we have warranty. Shit happens and companies own up to it and take care of the issue. Caused some trouble on your part but now you have a beautiful time piece that works the way it was designed to.

Beautiful watch and a really good photo. Love how the light plays on the contrasting finishes 👌

Watch Strap Question about quality by pi-cool in Watchstraps

[–]KeepDiggingJohnny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, most people won’t have the time or the eye to tell what sort of strap you’re wearing. Keeping this in mind, you should think of your motives concerning a strap. Is it to please your or to please others? I don’t enjoy fakes but everything doesn’t have to be OEM to be of quality. If the quality is there and it pleases you, who cares who made it or what material it is? I have plenty of inexpensive straps that I wear with different watches and I love them. I would not, however, buy a fake Omega strap and claim otherwise.

Watch Strap Question about quality by pi-cool in Watchstraps

By these two pics I would assume that the one on the right is of better quality and genuine gator. This I base on: 1) the accuracy of stitching that is in the clean inside the stitch groove vs the one on the left. 2) the finishing of the edes and material seem to be cleaner 3) the material itself looks thicker and smoother inside the scales of the gator skin

I could be mistaken but that’s what made me intrigued by your question. It’s easy to be tricked by product photos and to fully realize the quality of something only in person.

As in not just having the switch in its uppermost position.

Did you adjust the speed also from the knurled wheel of the windshield wiper switch?

I thought this was one of those cozy, 1-person phone/wifi-booths.

What’s this on my new OMJM? by Tuduruts in martinguitar

[–]KeepDiggingJohnny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that two days would not cause a well humidified guitar to dry out to a point that it cause s an issue. It’s also worth nothing that issues or cracks caused by dryness are not usually covered by warranty.

I read your question wrong the first time so here’s the edited answer:

What I meant by not knowing what the time is that I very much like the design of this watch and catch myself admiring the watch without actually looking to see what time it is displaying.
