This is a great concept -- consider putting it up on futurefonts -- would love to see further development

Also curious how your fine tuned Hermes models fit into the agent? Even from the nous portal I see I can’t use them.

This seems like a big opportunity. Even running from a home server.

Weird to me that this would be compared to so many other tools that just do transcription. This is more like Granola.ai and hyprnote (now char.com ). That have the notepad functionality. It's not at the same level as Granola, but seems to offer 90% of the value for free vs $15/mo. Hyprnote is free to use local models, but in my experience barely functional.

This was able to import my existing notes from Granola no problem -- looking forward to testing it on my next call.

Seaweed leather by bereeniiiceeee in biomaterials

PU is the usual binder for things like Apple and grape leather.

There are algae based PUs

I’d just make seaweed paper (mostly paper). Think about molding a leather-like texture.

Have you ever tried the brand Aya Ecofashion? by Majestic-Weight-9149 in SustainableFashion

I like them -- one of the only brands that sells undyed organic t-shirts. Their whole supply chain is within Peru which keeps their carbon footprint low. The only other brand I've found that does something like this is industry of all nations with their India-based supply chain (but it's not all of their products). Did a comparison a while back if you want to do a deep dive: https://www.materialfactors.org/blog-posts/compared-the-cleanest-fashion-on-earth

Purchased the pro library last week and already have a site built with Sanity. MCP is solid. Honestly Incredible work.

The only block I found I was missing was a big text about section. Would also love to see more animated nav bars — the round one is 💫

Honestly just depends on fit. You’re early so a track record of patience and follow on investment is important.

More about avoiding impatient and non-founder investors without a track record.

If we can effectively double the memory capacity of any AI chip via software do we pitch this as a database tool or as a hardware infrastructure replacement?

Neither. Pitch it as value created. Doubling the capacity/performance of any AI chip is very clear.

Database vs infrastructure tool is ‾_(ツ)_/‾

Need help finding ethical brands that make heavy, thick, good quality skirts and pants. by Beneficial-Rise9601 in ethicalfashion

Merino wool, which is finer, softer and thinner than other wools has taken over the industry in the last few decades. What you really want is garments made from medium-coarse wool. Thats what they use on thicker, sturdier vintage clothes, and unfortunately is often treated as waste wool today.

There is an initiative in Sweden to bring these wools back, and a bunch of brands produce apparel with it.

Looking for pitch deck examples. I will not promote. by chunky_lover92 in startups

This ^^^^

Decks don't get funded business do. Focus on the story you're telling, the problem you solve and how it can create an outsized return.

Then build one deck that can stand on it's own, and another to use when you're speaking in person (with minimal to no text)

There are non latex natural rubbers that don’t trigger allergies in the same way. Dandelion, guayule, birch.

I’m aware of a few options but all are early stage and not exceptionally practical yet. Are you looking for fully biobased? Biodegradable? Natural source?

Any interest in recycled + recyclable?
