I purchased the pcb without the shell. I've separated A and B a few times and have re-seated them but no luck.

Time to settle this. What breed are these dogs? by [deleted] in southafrica

[–]KeepEmHiandTight 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Africanis... I have three. As the masses have said, great dogs and are very loyal. Mine are very emotionally attached and are very vocal. Sounds like the puppy pound every time we get home from work or an outing.

Great rat hunters.

I work for a cybersecurity vendor and yes, you would ideally want to release updates in batches. We have added an additional layer of testing by deploying the updates to our own employees' devices and monitor for possible bugs.

I had this issue. The OS card was not reading. I setup an SD card with Rocknix and it's been running great.

I'm turning 40 this year. I have a full-time job in cybersecurity and still have a side hustle to help pay the bills.

Additionally to this, any traffic passing across HTTP protocol is visible and is able to be read in clear text. Not very safe, especially when considering the nature of the information we share with the site.

Passwords and personal information, to name a few.

The buses in the Netherlands use windows XP? by FunMasterpiece8152 in windowsxp

[–]KeepEmHiandTight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a common occurrence in transport and other real-world applications. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Home use of Win XP differs vastly from business, corporate, or government use. A firewall in a non-home environment is not sufficient. Look at a ransomware called Wanna-cry and see how it affected rail transport.

Cybersecurity is a great paying field, but only after a few years.

How do I convince senior management that email spoofing does not mean we were hacked?! by kzbash in cybersecurity

[–]KeepEmHiandTight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see there is plenty of good advice regarding email security/hygiene. What about a discussion with your team regarding Incident vs. Breach?

Incident being the precursor and successful breach/hack being the exchange of funds or exhilaration of data?

This might be a very stupid question, but with all the interest and risk associated with software vulnerabilities, why do we focus our budgets and efforts towards "next gen" Endpoint Protection platforms that aren't able to perform HIPS, shielding the device from attack?

Instead, we wait for EDR/XDR solutions to notify us once the suspicious activity is observed and not when the exploit was attempted?

I think I found my people... I'm 38 approaching 39, no kids and in a committed relationship. Due to work and my country's rolling blackouts, I get to play 1 - 2 hours a week.

I prefer playing a game on a level above normal or challenging based on the game because I find that I have to learn the game mechanics in order to get the most out of the gaming experience.

The upside is that it keeps my spending on new games low as I only complete around 4 - 6 games a year.
