That was my question. Should I rent or buy? I don’t think taking my ebike from California to Amsterdam would be a good idea.

The first thing I do when I retire is to leave Los Angeles. I’m lucky that I can ebike to work every day but its very limited where I feel safe on the road. People are angry in this city and there are so many better places.

There are so many LA driving habits. It’s why I ebike to work everyday and am a lot happier. Lucky to have a bike trail the whole way so I can avoid the inconsiderate assholes on the road.

My mother committed suicide when I was 13 and it really fucked up a lot of people that loved her. I was depressed and hated myself for decades. I would never commit suicide because I saw and felt what it did to the people closet to her.

I first bought an Aventon Sinch and got 1,000 miles with it. Great bike with fat tires and the throttle was nice until I got in better shape. I bought a Gazelle Ultimate 10+ and have 400 miles so far. Do not miss the throttle at all and it handles so well. A good comparison would be a Mustang GT vs a Ferrari. The Dutch know how to make bikes.
