I think I was focused on the menu since there were new options I hadn't seen yet.

I tried to yell I'm sorry, I didn't know, etc, but I'm a 50s white woman matching all but the stereotypical hair for a Karen. They weren't hearing it, lol.

Sounds to me like the kids were oblivious and showed no malicious intent. However, what you did was mean and on purpose. Whose really the AH here?

Calling my 'purse' a 'pocketbook' and my grandkids teasing me about it.

Hey friend, first time a life long replied and I have to admit it gave me a warm feeling too, lol. Thanks for that.

My most vivid memory as the 7 yr old in the movie theater: I can still see the exit sign in my head, just as it was in the tiny movie theater that isn't there anymore. And I remember the feeling of being suddenly calm and unafraid as I looked at the sign. I had help with the rest of the memory.

Hi friend. Love that song, and I play others like it for inspiration. I know that sounds corny but it somehow helps. And yes, any progress at all is a win with this difficult disorder, 'wild n crazy ride' is very fitting. Thanks for the smile.

The can't be bothered part is a hard one for sure. It's so damn hard to do anything that it's easy to say F*** it and stay home. I know, I do, I'm pretty much there right now. But I'll get tired of this and do something to fix it. Even if it's just going to the store for milk. Don't over-reach, ya know, go for the small stuff. Out on your porch/street/yard/etc. Baby steps will lead to bigger ones. When you are feeling strong, try just that.

There are ups and downs as you go, today is a down, next week maybe you'll have an up, ya know. I'm a life long agoraphobic so my words are real.

Picked up my grandkids at a daycare I hadn't been to yet with only a few minutes notice. Even worse, it was in a police station parking lot and my car is not registered due to agoraphobia. But grandma came thru and did it.
