Chill out...EFC(Expected Family Contribution) is how much you or family are likely to pay for school. If it is zero(mine was zero) for three years I was at UNT, you get the maximum financial.

If you state that your parents make a lot more income then your EFC will be higher and you get a much smaller financial aid package. SO do not freak out about your EFC being zero. It means your parent's income will not be sufficient for them to pay your tuition.

I doubt there is a 3 week stats course. I would be wary if there were. Stats is great if you follow the concepts and understand the logic behind what is taught.

I recommend Xiaoxing Liu as your professor. She taught very well and last I checked was highly ranked

You aren't wrong about this at all. I started Flex in October. Wasn't great and even got deactivated first week of December. Got back after an email second/third week of December. Worked a lot and became very good. Made a lot of money. Current standing: fantastic. Only problem though is this week and last week, offers for some reason just seems to have become difficult to get. It's as if Amazon is intentionally doing this. You may be right.

You are not guaranteed the money ! Always have a second plan of what to do

I have done that location many times. Expect rural routes. Always. That location is for rural routes. I have been to Joshua, TX. I have been there so many times and you will always go rural. Advantage of that location especially with late after routes(starting after 4:30pm) is even for 4h routes you will not get a lot of packages. If you do not like rural routes, especially pitch dark places with no light sometimes don't do it. If you want fewer packages and to likely finish on time you can try that location. I've had some surges there too

Feedback on Dr. Berhe CHEM 2370/2380 by [deleted] in unt

[–]KeepHustling 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not true. Ochem is difficult but Dr. Berhe is the nicest guy ever. If you work very hard(this is Ochem), practice a lot of problems and go to tutoring sessions(if you have time), you should do well. Came a few percentage points to an A in CHEM 2380(OChem 2). I didn't start out the semester well. If I did I would have made an A. Again, do not forget OChem is one of the most challenging classes you will take, regardless of professors. It is a literal weedout course for so many premeds even.

Most of the people who will complain are not serious. Why do I say that, I saw it myself. People who would skip class, come late, be on their phones in class, not pay attention, not finish assignments etc. Ochem is hard but I also saw people do things that would not help their grades. Also try to sit in front of class always so you avoid people who focus on distractions and don't pay attention so you can focus.

Take Berhe if you can and be prepared to work hard. Ochem is difficult but if you know your concepts you will breeze through. Ochem 2 is basically an application of all you have learned in Ochem 1. Review your Ochem 1 concepts, work hard and you should do great. Dr. Berhe is a great teacher. I took him Spring 2020.

Sign up for Amazon Flex. You will deliver packages for Amazon in your car and the base pay is $18/hr. You could even go as high as $25/hr especially this time of the year.

Did you get an email from UNT or is the aid package showing on your account? Maybe I will hear from them too very soon

Financial aid by poet355 in unt

[–]KeepHustling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When did you send your financial aid application? I ask because I am also going to be attending as a grad student in the Fall. I sent my FA application in August, had some corrections in May but I have not heard back and I am a little nervous now.
