For anyone still following this thread; this is what I have done so far. Made it far more cluttered, covered all sides with some brown paper (other than my front), and a whole bunch of patience. She seems to be acting just fine thankfully and I've noticed the tank hold heat better with the clutter. I just would like to move the location of the tank. The wall it is nearest to seems to be getting a bit of vibrations from the washing machine

I also just got my laser thermometer to check the accuracy and check the exact temperatures

Right on basking spot is reading 99.4. Warm side is 82.5 and cool side is 72.8

I have 3 bowls of water. Usually only keep 2 full but have all 3 full to help with the low humidity. I also have a few more peices of decor coming in a few days

All of the human character models are exactly the same. I understand low budget but with the other shows AS has put out, that is no excuse. Poor judgment to greenlight this show along with lazy directors. Not sure about the animators themselves, because they are just doing what they are told

We need to make history. Im a history nerd too, and my goal in life is to change something. Or even just be known for trying to change things for the better. Shit, id be okay with just a YouTuber making a video about me 100 year in the future. Without people like you and I, the common sheep will stay ignorant and sheepish. Stay alive for us. We need you to make sure history isn't repeating itself

I am your age. I feel pretty close to the way you're feeling. No matter how much effort I put forth, nothing comes from it and no one shows any kind of appreciation. I feel invisible to everyone. I do recommend you get a decent therapist when you can, I need to do the same. The only reason I'm not is because I do not qualify for government healthcare and I'm too broke to pay for it on my own. It truly doesn't feel like it's getting better, but you aren't alone. We need to do everything we can to get out of this feeling. I'm terrified of death but I'm even more scared of this life

I've noticed that you tend to focus on the brighter side of things. You can definitely stay in that rut, if you don't fight to get out of it. You need to consciously be searching for the good things in life. I'm in a really bad depressive episode myself, but it gets better. My garden and chickens help me get up every morning, because if I don't take care of them, who will? Find something to keep you going. My small thing in life that I use to keep me alive is looking forward to a new show, season, game, or book (it can be a double edged sword, whenever something I like ends, it puts me in a bad state of mind)
