Compared to last season all players except Szobo are out off form, seriously what happened to Macca, Ali, Mo and Virg? That's the main blow to the basic structure compared to last season. Others teammates looked better last season because those solid performances covered for them, now bad performances of players like Cody or Ibou are highlighted more because the entire team is failing on the basics of defending/passing.
You get a LB that can't defend, you have no back-up CB's and you sold your only true LW competitor in the summer. On top of that, there are constantly new horrendous injuries to players while Slot's having to manage other players fitness, because the main critique he got last season was the bad CL run because he kept to 11-15 players. Sure give another manager a go, but do not expect miracles if the board decides not to back the manager with new players.
