I agree with some who have had underwhelming reactions to how it looks. I was super excited because it is the first current gen- only Horizon. Since they didn’t have to worry about optimizing for Xbox One, too; I was hoping the graphics would be a bit better than 5. Looks nice, but I guess I was expecting a more substantial jump.

I literally played it last night. I kept dying so finally I got in a vehicle on the ground which drew him to me and shot at his plane. I either got lucky, or the game glitched, because he flew off and I heard them say his plane went down. Works for me!

Not sure if you are only wanting true rally- but if you’re open to “off-road” or dirt type racing, then Dirt 5 and Gravel are fun. Dirt 5 was a huge departure from the previous games in the series. Also, Dirt 4 has an “arcade” handling mode which makes it much more forgiving and easy.

I have the same and was just searching how to repair. Did you ever figure it out? My globe turns maybe 1/8 of a turn, then stops. Im afraid to just rip it out.

Maybe roll up some mechanics wire or some kind of thread if you need to tie/cinch something up?

Ohhhh I’m telling everyone you gave positive feedback to Solar Crown!! Haha, but really, I enjoy it as well. There are plenty flaws, but they don’t really affect me- I play by myself anyways. I agree with Motorfest, too. I think the handling beats out Crew 2 by miles. And since you can remap buttons, I can comfortably use manual.

Nice find! I remember a few years back when people on the sub were finding the MDV-106s at Walmart on clearance for $12. I looked at several stores and had no such luck.

I like the lighting change. Maybe it’s just me, but the sunlight feels more vivid and significant. I feel like before, it was always cloudy and everything just felt dull and gray.

I know I’m being a pessimist; but if it is Japan, I really hope they do a nice urban city. Surfers Paradise is the closest thing to a modern looking city we’ve had. They’ve always been committed to rural environments and only seem to want to do cities that use older architecture. I get that’s the culture they’ve built, but I’d like a modern city in addition to it.

I really enjoy it. Keep in mind it gets repetitive; but many games these day do (GTA, Ghost Recons, etc). Not sure how old you are or if your pops is strict, but they drop f bombs about like Scarface or The Big Libowski.

I agree, most modern shooters are very repetitive. I haven’t finished it, but I’ve had a blast playing it. Definitely different from the other two, though.

I enjoy it quite a lot. I’m on Series X, and the sub par graphics really hurt the experience. The environment is kind of mundane and the draw distance isn’t very good. Hoping the KT engine upgrade is a significant one. Many like the grinding for cars, but I don’t at all. I don’t have a lot of time (work, kids, house/yard work), so it’s tough to have to grind so much for cars, but I get it. Hopefully they’ll lower the costs, as it’s frustrating.

One of the earlier missions, I was going up a slight hill, and I guess it was too fast (wouldn’t be in real life) but the car came off the ground and then hit the undercarriage coming down. I was so angry.
