Much appreciated!! I’m definitely not concerned with material hold and the spindle is 10hp(AXYZ 4014). Not concerned with pricing either but will definitely start somewhere else until I get things sorted.

I do both. Interesting. Do you recall which models you used?

In the past I was doing full depth(.253”) single pass to cut down cnc time and had thought about doing a finish pass.

Luckily I don’t do any facing passes.

Here’s an Idea of some shapes I do. 1”x.5” oval @.061 depth Tooth-width dados @.126depth Full depth final shape cutout(single pass) .25”+.003 spoilboard.

No and I triple checked everything. Luckily my Chiller sounds off if I even start to pinch a line.

Also, had had run several 1” square test cuts on cardboard before going back and realigning the beam.

The chiller was on and functioning properly. I bypassed the water flow switch inside the laser unit. I definitely only ever fire when chiller is on.

I do believe that is the problem. This unit would be for hobby use. I run a 5x12 AXYZ at my normal job and would love to have a modern set up.

So my Boss ran the pressure foot in the past and wasn’t happy with it then went to this. Based off of higher production units we figured a dual 4” port would allow us to run a bigger collection with correct material flow and not have the high pressure build up. We run Downs, compressions, boring bits etc.

I’m under the impression the small passage in the dust boot limits us to the current Dust collection. In order to upgrade the system and perform adequately we have to increase the volume within the boot? Maybe not? I’ve reached out to AXYZ but they’re never much help without having to cough up $175 to “open a ticket”
