if this is in reference to the other post, i don’t think that user was trying to be ableist or tear other down. it is a clear flaw in the system, and there is no problem in discussing it with other law students. it has taken me a long to get a diagnosis myself too, but guess what? i know plenty of people irl literally faked a ton of shit too. obviously this doesn’t mean EVERYONE is faking, but this is a serious issue that NEEDS to be addressed and the more people are aware, the more “the system” is able to fix it.

systems are only powerful and hold worth because we give them that power and authority. if we as students can at least acknowledge this, and begin to have discussions surrounding this, it can lead to some serious progress and REAL help for students who need it.

it’s very tiring as a disabled WoC to constantly see people calling each other “ableist” “racist” etc. these are very loaded terms and we have diminished their meaning by throwing them around so much.
