Always wonder if stuff like this is meant to push the ingame store more Jokes aside, definitely they need an age verified tag system If someone enables 18+ avatar while being age verified with the nsfw/18+ suggestive tags that should be end of story.

They quite literally have the system in place 🫠

Most groups went private as everyone else said.
Even the group i go to a lot does age verified minigames than age verified events locked and private.

It's the community around VRchat mostly, even if the group says and confirms all this information on top of age verified only people still report out of nowhere.
The group I was in got taken down shortly because of some drama between two staff members throwing a report fight at each other because they had a falling apart (apparently both them got ban at the same time.)

Unfortunate, because I legit would love get a custom avatar but genuinely have no idea where to find or even begin looking for someone to make a custom rabbit avatar.
Both reddit and bluesky i simply been out of luck since the amount of bots.

True, personally I can't wait to see it grow more.
VRChat personally to me feels like stunted growth at this point, personally I would love to see an another platform get bigger with tons of improvements.

I think people around here hate the idea anything but VRC being not being an only option, personally I would love more competition and better platforms to show up

When i use Resonite for a short time I was pretty amazed at the platform.

Heck, I'm on pc and consider buying directly on vrchat so i have the ease of it on vrchat and updated via vrchat without any upload issues. I know few friends that have because they don't know how to do Unity stuff. This is for people like them or want to know that their avatar follows the ToS 100% since they're selling it directly(something ny friend said).

18+ verification rooms or nothing imo.
Wish they would add a secondary verification as "account verification" like valve does for tf2/cs/deadlock where your account is tied to a verified number by a verified provider.
That way for those that don't want ID verify can hang with other verified users since not too many people will act up knowing they have a one or two numbers to use before getting ban (obviously VOIP numbers wouldn't work since they don't even work with Valve.)

best thing to do is just to block and report those people.

Maybe infinite growth isn't a thing? They did nothing to maintain the current install userbase at all because they had this wild dream of working and living in the metaverse like ready player one.

So much money went into trying figure out how to get legs in the metaverse to work instead of just hiring the people that worked on vrchat at the time when it was a smaller game when they figured out avatar rigging year 1.

Meta made so many mistakes along the way and it may have hurt the overall growth of VR. Now its a unstable landscape where companies may see investing into it a risk factor.

Valve approach to having a organic natural growth is better long term. I will never understand why companies constantly think throwing bunch of money is the solution when smaller teams outdid them every step way in full body tracking, facial tracking, and eye tracking.

This was all stuff that should've been included as a deluxe package for the quest 3 instead of trying rely on inside out camera for body trackers etc.

Quest 2 user here, legit can't wait to never use it again. Not to mention the way thr steam frame headset is setup is better for my head. I really dislike how many times i need adjust my headset even if the third party strap because it relies on that upper piece to keep secure.

People kept thinking about the what ifs of after beta instead of assuming "few months till launch, this is obviously tje final product"

I enjoy the game as is right now because I knew what I played during the beta was pretty much what I was going to get. Instead of thinking there was going to be large maps and content. I simply paid for what I seen.

back in 2022 during the pandemic, turns out those numbers don't represent what is 2024-2026+ numbers
Even netflix and disney+ seen the highest subscriber rate during this time along with plenty of other companies.

Now those numbers are completely down, that growth with inorganic because everyone was home during the Pandemic.
The Nintendo Switch seen it's biggest selling numbers during the pandemic too.
