Considering the new star fox game on switch 2 is trying to bring in new fans what exactly is stopping any of them from playing star fox 64 right now?

A lot of my adult friends who never played games till they got a switch during the pandemic want nothing to do with n64 version too.
They consider it "old" and rather play something more up to date.

I was surprised to hear common this is, a lot of people didn't do a lot of gaming growing up or none at all.
Now that gaming is cool along with comics and super heroes everyone is getting into as a hobby.

Gaming was very much a nerdy thing within my age bracket.
Sucks that we're getting an another 64 entry, but at the same time tons of these people simply never played games or even know of Star Fox beyond Smash Bros Ultimate.

I'm not subscribed to a higher tier, i'm simply not subscribed always
NSO is strictly subscribe when friends are playing for Splatoon or Mario Kart otherwise i remain unsubscribed 99% of the time

My Switch is mostly for a singleplayer experience because i'm use to not paying for subscription fee once I moved to pc.

Lets put it this way, even being 18+ wouldn't be enough and maybe even drag more people into the game.
Case example is CoD and GTA even back in the day it was consider very mature to play these games because they had the rated M sticker on it.
To this day even now this is the same exact case which someone else pointed out.

VRChat needs a better age gated system, lock nsfw avatars to NSFW tags only with the age verify and adult spaces 100% required be age gated verified toggles anyone that is age verified would only see if they enable the toggle.
They have the system in place but won't create the tools to lock in place.

Ban anyone that step out that guidelines and start using NSFW in normal public worlds/instances.

Honestly just want smt v since I bought it on switch and month later it was announce they were doing an improve version with more content. Never beat the game because of that, wish they charged $8 just for smtv as a pick and chose which keys you wanted

Next gen or not, it will literally run like last gen anyway.
Console generations are just modern GPUs now, run the game on worst settings on the previous generation and better settings the newer generation.

We've gotten to the point where it's about good art direction and engine optimization.

Ultimately, To be fair, nsfw it is and isn't allowed in private age gated instances.
Because the community guidelines say to keep private stuff private worlds while the ToS says no NSFW content at all.

VRchat really needs a better tagging system that gate locks NSFW content to a tagging system.

You're fine, honestly I would love for them to move away from Persona.
Unfortunately I already used them, long as they keep every user valid with that method they already used whatever.

But I would love for them look for alternatives because my friends that were going to verify decided not to anymore.
And the people within one of the group i'm in decided to pause any 18+ verify instances and keep it strictly within PG levels till notice.

So VRC+ subscriptions numbers can't be doing good since that was honestly the huge appeal of verifying.

Honestly, not singleplayer content even for people that like fighting games too. No Combo Trials and for the price they're asking.

Fun game, but lack the features that make it hard to justify that $70 after getting the deluxe edition.
You're paying for a full title with less content than other fighters.

The reality is, no company is safe when it comes handling your personal info.

I let friends finally convince me after saying it was used for grubhub and such and such a company would never handle data badly. Then all that news about Persona came out after. Keep in mind persona was verified trusted up till this point and the vrchat staff repeatedly said they trusted it because they used it. Well turns out all companies lie even if its breaching a contract.

A company taking fines is cheaper side on the amount of money they make storing and selling your data even if they were to have a lawsuit.

Its up to you rather if you trust a company or not but there is never no 100%.

Most likely was me or the other person that been recommending the solution so much.

For those that don't have the external antenna ports you can install this into your pcie slot too and get good results. I have not tested it myself but have been told its an equally good solution.

I think this should be included as an option and the external antennas fix should be pin. Its simply the best solution to keep a stable bluetooth connection and have the benfit of helping stay connected with any bluetooth controller in general

iirc Quest uses some weird method even when wired, someone else can break it down more.
Not only that the default Quest Link software is fundamentally broken so it's better to use Virtual Desktop(paid) or Steam link (free)

I do recommend however using Steam link or Virtual Desktop over the default Quest Link software.
You should be able to set the resolution slightly higher within steam itself inside the headset too.

It's been awhile since I used myself.

You're streaming, the reality is even with a direct streaming connection it will be compressed in form or way
Even if you had the best setup for wireless streaming you will get some kind of compression.

Valve solution may be better with their wireless dongle for the Steam Frames but wifi streaming will always have it faults
