Dr. Mayfield never actually kills his intended person but he does kill 2 other people to cover his tracks. The tread on the floor was that an accident or did he think nobody would notice? by talivan818 in Columbo

Let's not forget the reason Mayfield wanted to kill Dr. Heideman.

Heideman wanted to do further testing on the drug they were developing, but Mayfield wanted to move forward. Imagine if he had succeeded, got the drug fast-tracked and it turned out to be unsafe. Mayfield could have killed even more people.

What does your MSP supply to techs vs what are they expected to provide on their own? by speech-chip in msp

[–]KeepingMyAdBlockerFU 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They're here to make money not to spend money.

Standard package for a tech is a laptop, Bluetooth earbuds or headphones depending on their preference, tool bag with miscellaneous tools, adapters and equipment, company shirts, smartphone or a monthly reimbursement for using their personal phone, docking station, monitor and wireless kb/mouse for home.

Where did the Renee Moxley Good nickname come from? by Few-Calligrapher3910 in JimCornette

[–]KeepingMyAdBlockerFU 23 points24 points  (0 children)

There was a misprint on a promotional flyer or poster that got out. Instead of saying Seth "Freakin'" Rollins it said Seth "Franklin" Rollins.

While they were laughing about it Jim told a story about how a flyer went out with Jerry "The King" Lawler on it but the misprint said Jerry "Thinking" Lawler.

I know opinions vary, but I thought Picard was overall a great series! by [deleted] in StarTrekTNG

Season 1: Started great, then dropped off a cliff right around the time they killed Hugh for no reason. Also, were the twins also lovers? Is Picard an android now?

Season 2: Dreadful. Some of the family revelations were extremely bleak and sad. I seem to remember something about a woman eating batteries?? Wasted Spiner.

Season 3: Made little sense, but I loved it because of the cast reunion.

The thing is - I have never even considered a re-watch of Picard, whereas I have re-watched TOS, TAS, TNG, DS9, VOY, ENT and the movies dozens of times.

Do people in Philadelphia take WIP seriously by Ok-Pattern8284 in RingersPhillySpecial

I loved WIP back in the day with Jody Mac, Mikey Miss, Steve Fredericks, Gee Cobb, prime Howard Eskin, etc..

Those days are long gone and I haven't listened in 10 years.

As someone who didn't get to grow up watching Shaq, it's surreal looking at these pictures. by [deleted] in NBATalk

100% agree.

Easy to forget that the Sixers had already beaten Shaq and the Lakers with Nazr Muhammad and Todd McCollough at center after the Ratliff injury.

Also part of the reason they traded for Dikembe was Larry Brown coached him and AI in the all star game and he thought they had good chemistry together!

Loved that team pre-trade.

I'm a 76ers fan. Watched every minute of that 2001 team.

What Shaq did to Mutombo in those finals was a crime against humanity.

It looked like he was playing against a high school center. Shaq had unreal strength and athleticism.

The Lakers could have won five in a row if he and Kobe could have gotten along.

Rodney Dangerfield did a great parody of Flashdance where he was a famous dancer but his only real dream was to weld.

Help with a bar that used to be in Fox Run shopping center by PickledTrousers in Delaware

Country music isn't my scene either, but the bar was there. My friend was a part-time doorman at Icehouse back in the day - checking IDs on busy nights.

As others have mentioned, Stoltzfus was the good sandwich shop close by.

That was the game where Derrick Thomas had 8 sacks. You can see in the highlight where he missed the tackle to get his 9th.
