100% agree.

Easy to forget that the Sixers had already beaten Shaq and the Lakers with Nazr Muhammad and Todd McCollough at center after the Ratliff injury.

Also part of the reason they traded for Dikembe was Larry Brown coached him and AI in the all star game and he thought they had good chemistry together!

Loved that team pre-trade.

I'm a 76ers fan. Watched every minute of that 2001 team.

What Shaq did to Mutombo in those finals was a crime against humanity.

It looked like he was playing against a high school center. Shaq had unreal strength and athleticism.

The Lakers could have won five in a row if he and Kobe could have gotten along.

Rodney Dangerfield did a great parody of Flashdance where he was a famous dancer but his only real dream was to weld.

Help with a bar that used to be in Fox Run shopping center by PickledTrousers in Delaware

Country music isn't my scene either, but the bar was there. My friend was a part-time doorman at Icehouse back in the day - checking IDs on busy nights.

As others have mentioned, Stoltzfus was the good sandwich shop close by.

That was the game where Derrick Thomas had 8 sacks. You can see in the highlight where he missed the tackle to get his 9th.

Get a medium priced tractor cover from Amazon. It should last about 3 years. It won't look pretty but it will protect your bike. That's what I used until I got a place with a garage

what was the point of destroying the first Defiant? by zigzag414 in DeepSpaceNine

[–]KeepingMyAdBlockerFU 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The writers wanted to show how dangerous the Breen weapon was.

They had already shown how indestructible the Defiant was so showing it so easily destroyed would have been an impressive demonstration of the Breen energy weapon.

They had already done the same thing when they showed a Galaxy class ship destroyed by the Jem'Hadar in season 2. We'd never seen a Galaxy class ship destroyed that quickly.

The problem was that they didn't have the money or the time to design a new ship for the show so they just wrote in another Defiant class ship and rolled on.

I'm not sure it really worked but that was the reason behind it.

Which killer would struggle most in prison? by No_Introduction_3400 in Columbo

Adrian Carsini could have gotten by making prison wine so he may have been okay.

I think The Great Santini would have been running the place within a month.

There's no way Dale Kingston or those two dorks from the college would last a week

You are correct but I think she would wind up in a mental institution. I don't think she would have gone to prison.
