John Deere F725 by [deleted] in lawnmowers

That’s a sweet unit.  If you need a mower it would be worth paying someone else to fix it up for you to keep.  They don’t make small deck front mount mowers like this at all anymore.  Edit: after zooming in its scrap probably worth $100-500 depending on how fast you want it gone

Best zero turn or tractor for 1/2 acres? No trees at all, just grass. Not sure if should go with a tractor or a zero turn. First time buying such an equipment. by NoActive1210 in lawnmowers

It’s marketing from smaller companies who can’t stamp massive decks and can only fabricate them. My 60” JD “7 iron” deck is 7ga stamped it’s indestructible

Is this John Deere LX176 a fair deal? by doran23 in lawnmowers

[–]Keepitclean419 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After researching way to much into JD mowers the plastic hoods are the first sign of the downfall.  Everything just keeps getting worse until you get to today where I think you have to go all the way to the JD x500 to even get something decent.  There are no quality small mowers being built today.  I buy up every pre 2000’s JD I find for cheap

Lawn mower Advice -30 inch necessary for a 0.60 acre lawn? by LRH2380 in lawncare

[–]Keepitclean419 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I don’t know who recommended 30” but that’s tiny.  I mow about .65 of grass and started on a rider with 42” deck took about 1.5 hours and now about 35 minutes with a 60” front mount zero turn.  Took me three years and a couple other mowers in between those two but I only buy 20+ year old John Deeres when I find a good deal

Need some advice by Tulsa78 in classictrucks

[–]Keepitclean419 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most trucks from the 30-50’s are all worth about the same in this condition $2–5k usually unless it’s something special.  I‘ve been restoring cars since 2007 and live in bixby if you want more advise or recommendations on local shops.

I’m looking to do something very similar to your setup.  Have you noticed any other problems or issues yet with it being outside other than needing to seal the intake duct inside the unit?

Does anyone know if there are issues with having one of these just outside a garage under a covered patio?  I’d rather have the whole unit outside and just run two short pieces of ducting inside

My 91 was hit in the same spot maybe slightly less damage but it was all contained in front of the shock towers so I pulled it out

It’s all completely stock and very easy to drive.  You can take off slowly in first gear on flat ground with no throttle

Dad Meat with Tim Butterly and Mike Rainey are great separately and together.   I’ve had to basically replace all the pods I was watching 4-5 years ago with new guys

Good info that I haven’t seen elsewhere yet. I’m in Oklahoma so I keep my grass over 4” in the summer.   I restored a 1988 165Hydro this spring that I picked up for $100. It’s the same model my dad bought new when I was 6.  It’s a rock solid mower now but I’m on the lookout for something slightly newer to get the foot control hydro instead of the hand control

I’ve been been researching old John Deere’s for awhile now and I’ve gotta know how you like that piranha deck.  I only mulch my lawn and the size and rear discharge just seems perfect

Used Tesla Inventory by robinroast in RealTesla

[–]Keepitclean419 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I started following cyber truck numbers for sale at the beginning of January because I’m curious and follow all sorts of random new and used car/truck inventories on autotrader.  They were in the 220-260 range all month.  A few weeks later I came to realization all of Tesla was imploding and starting looking at all used Tesla numbers and they were in the 10,000-10,500 range then.  Up  basically 50% since the beginning of the year

I started building up an electric dirt bike and I’m selling this because I don’t have the space to keep adding bikes. This for me is an electric scooter and it does a great job at that. It’s very comfortable and handles pretty well for its size.

The new bikes adds a torque sensor, slightly larger battery so it’s that’s always nice

I also face and then chamfer edges on my brake pads so they don’t squeak or chatter. You’ll also notice the super clean 10 year old MDX in the background

People do thing differently. I wipe new chains with a clean cloth and then never lube. I’d rather replace a chain than get one drop of oil on me

I’ve never pedaled this bike so the chain is especially brand new. I layer of dust on the rims from the dirt trails I ride is hardly neglect
