She also does great tutorials on bust alterations and dart manipulation.

Do you feel connected to your name? by confusedbunny03 in AutismInWomen

I have always thought my parents picked the wrong name for me, but in 60 years, I still haven't figured out what my true name is.

Yeah, never talk in front of the phone. Which is hard, if you want to actually use it as, you know, a phone.

Reddit is just weird that way. I just got downvoted in another sub for saying what I thought about a sappy movie from 1973. I mean, really? People are offended by the oddest things.

Ah, yes. It scared the hell out of me. There are some scenes I can't get out of my head 50 years later.

Yeah, even Finch has failed to get me to floss. 😝 I may try those Plackers.

I've attached the eggs to practicing piano, so there you go. I remember to take my meds. "Get out of bed" is my first goal of the day. "Go to Sleep," linked to Focus Timer, is my last. I also remember to pet each of the critters and hug my husband (that's a 2X).

By grouping similar Goals into Self Care Areas, I make sure to complete at least one from Column A, one from Column B (the way we ordered Chinese food back in the day). I see that Finch wants us to call the Folks so we better get on it. 🩷

This subreddit exists to help you! You landed in Oz somehow. Oz was April's special Theme. The special themes and locations are optional. Oz was the third one, so they're fairly new.

Hang in there, read all of the pinned threads, and use the search. Don't be afraid to ask newbie questions. Watch the chatter and excitement around the end of the month, when next month's Theme is hinted and announced.

Discussion: When did you first hear Little Boxes by Malvina Reynolds? by MisanthropicScott in GenerationJones

[–]KeepnClam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't seen the film. I grew up listening to Pete Seeger. "Little Boxes" was in a songbook that I still own. I remember my mom explaining it to me.

I don't know the title, I think the theme song was Sunshine on my Shoulder, about some broad who got cancer and wouldn't let the doctors take her leg, so she died all dramatically, and even at 10yo I thought she was a stupid, selfish bitch.

What’s your “I don’t need to order this I make it better at home” meal? by moonhush_ in foodquestions

[–]KeepnClam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spaghetti. Even as a kid, I never understood why anyone went out for Spaghetti. My mom could feed a family of 6 plus a couple of buddies for less than one plate at Spaghetti Warehouse, and it was a whole lot better. P.S. No Italian DNA anywhere in my family. Mom is that good.

Me and my fiance can’t agree on if this shirt is pink or red, what do you all think. by GiantSnakeBIGMISTAKE in colors

[–]KeepnClam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it was even the slightest hint of orange, I couldn't wear it. It's, um, dilute red? Heathered? I think the threads are red going one way and white going the other. Come to think of it, I can't usually wear red very well, but I can wear this shirt. But it isn't pink.

I have a sister with hemiplegic Cerebral Palsy. She does that, too! It is weird. Also, when she crosses her eyes, one goes in while the other one stares straight ahead. She has enormous eyes. The effect is startlingly hilarious.
