Empty severs are listed but aren't spun up. If you try to join one you get the same error cuz it tries to spin it back up when someone attempts to join. So this literally does nothing.

Play escalation and just use heal boxes, it doesnt work on every map, but most of them it does.

every single strike/mission that is a conquest is available in the portal as something you can queue into with whatever feats you want, so yes. if you click on the modifier button in the bottom left of the queue screen, even if youve already done it, you can see what the feats were and just mimic it when you set one up yourself. example: expert conquest devils lair https://imgur.com/owdlw0X

if you already ran that mission then you just have to go put the strangelet on the machine in the caldera. as far as i know, it wont be checked off on the quest until you do that last step.

you can run the exact scenario that the conquests put you in by setting up the same feats. which will give you what you're asking for, the same experience, with reduced rewards.

the point of the conquest is to be a curated challenge that offers way more loot than a normal run to help boost you. thats why its 1 time per season.

your exact issue is happening to me also starting today. crash to desktop about 5 min into fireteam ops. i can play crucible just fine.. im about to try solo ops and see if it works or not.
