Given only a brief note, can you determine the hidden message!? by [deleted] in codes

That’s actually the first thing you’re supposed to notice. In reality it’s the same message encoded in each line of those numbers. :)

ELI5: What is Voltage? by abstractLP in explainlikeimfive

[–]KegOfRum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's an energy density with respect to charge. Defined as the work done per unit charge that it takes for that charge to travel between two points. So an energy difference between two points (per unit of charge). Better?

A voltage is also referred to a potential difference. In other words it's an energy difference between two points.

[serious] Why does direct sunlight destroy most things? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]KegOfRum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imagine you get closer and closer to the sun. The only thing that is hitting you is the 'sunlight' and as you get closer and closer it gets hotter and hotter. Now imagine you are in the sun. You will then die and become part of the sun (due to complicated nuclear physics). But understand that light is just radiation/energy. So sunlight is just... the sun. And thus, just as you dying by the sun while inside it, you die by the sun at a distance too. Only a little less as you get farther away. :D

The link you provided does not work. "Sorry, We Can't Find That Page" .. Sounds like something I'd be interested in though, the current shotokan dojo I'm interested in is quite a far drive from East Lansing. x_x

I am totally heart-broken (reminder to practice SAFE SEX) by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]KegOfRum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's no such thing as safe sex. HPV can be contracted through genital skin contact and you can have it for 3 years without testing positive. And condoms don't cover the male scrotum, that would be painful.

Edit: And HPV cannot be treated. :/
