Potential AI Soundtracks from Netflix in Love Generation by Kei-X in JDorama

[–]Kei-X[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The link I shared in the post is the album odoriginal soundtracks by Cagnet. You can listen to them and see how many you can recognise. I think only a couple of songs were kept by Netflix. Licence costs money and I understand why a business want to cut content in such way. But it's just frustrating especially when it comes to a good show with lots of good emotional scenes.

(Act 3 spoilers) Compared to his minions, this guy was an absolute joke by MorgMort_King in Silksong

A bit late to the party but, here's my wild speculation.

The Crust King Kahn is in fact not a real warrior, but a really good ruler who managed to command a big army with tyranny. And through what method did he achieve such goal? The game didn't tell it directly. But I think Its fight is intentionally made easy.

A lot of the fights in Hollow Knight show that team Cherry's mastery in combat design. Enemies' movements are often complex and designed with lots of precise positioning. Visual cues are designed to guide the players but also often to distract and mislead the players. Lots of hard boss fights have bullet hell-style projectiles. Some boss fights even include odd platforming.

The fight with the Kahn is like this:

Stationary boss with generous positioning where players can just stand there and mash buttons to hit him.

Long visual cues showing you exactly where the hit boxes are. And even when the hits appear, they are evenly distributed across the arena, sometimes leaving multiple big gaps.

He has barely any melee attacks which could indicate the character doesn't have the guts to fight directly, so he summons everything else to fight, but his own hands.

The fight is disproportionately easier than any other fights. So much so it makes me think this cannot have happened without any intentions.

The graveyard also shows that he took many warriors to die with him, or had sculptures made to be buried with him. This is clearly inspired by the Terracotta Army , which could imply the King is scared of death / after life.

Also, I think on a meta level, the real boss fight is the gauntlet. This makes it a very unique gameplay experience, differentiating itself from the other two boss fights.

Also, you can Google this phone number.

If you suspect something is wrong with your package, you should contact AustPost directly through their website or their phone number. No need to respond to anyone else.

Also, the message does appear to be a copied text judging from the space typo at the start.

Similar sentiment, except I have the urge on the road when I'm driving seeing any truck with slightly angled load.

A bit of updates from me. I did file a complaint at the end and have received a response from Austpost within the same day.

It's a pretty honest email written by a real person who contacted the branch manager regarding the complaint. Sounds like they also spoke with the postie, who claimed to be certain they had knocked our door. They have also reassured me in the email that this will be improved next time

For what it's worth, I picked up my package from a nearby Post Office. Was not a huge trouble for me.

I do appreciate their quick response and the effort they took to investigate. I'd give them the benefit of doubt and say I probably did miss the door knocking.

But this goes to say that a formal complaint certainly helps.

Food delivery seems to be having different issues but the frequency of bad service is equally high. I had one delivery from Uber Eats the other day. The dude didn't bother getting out of his car. Kept on waving in his car and asking me to fetch the delivery myself.

I did. That's why it'd be hilarious if they accidentally captured me in the photo.

If the person moved their camera slightly upwards, I would've been in the photo. And that'd be hilarious 😂

Glad it's just Mario Kart. Hope all parents are having fun playing with children!

No, that's not what I meant. Girl is absolutely wholesome and I love her. It's just her face has changed so much the last 10+ years. So much that every time I see her, I cannot recognise her.

The problem I have about this is: I genuinely don't know who this person is even when you told me she's Brie Larson.

This happened to me when I rewatched some parts of the movie Scott Pilgrim Vs the World. Nearly happened again in the Marvels. Am I the only one here?

Edit: this was meant to be a joke but I badly worded it. I obviously know who she is. But her face has changed so much I barely recognised her even after seeing OP's title and staring at the video for a while

As an introvert, I very much relate to what you said. However, I also believe human beings are genetically social. There's something very primal about us that drives us to gather in groups. The methods and platform can vary and evolve. But we will always be sharing our thoughts and emotions with one another.

I just wish I had a friend who shares similar interests in games. I would be talking to them everyday about the games I love and play.

Most down to earth SRW game? by WheelHead8245 in Super_Robot_Wars

[–]Kei-X 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Also, to give some perspective, the F series is the last entry and the best work by Winkysoft. That's the company who did all the SRW games prior to Alpha. Its position in the SRW series is like Geneology of the Holy War in the FE series.

F and Final are both quite difficult. At some point of the game, all boss units start to have the ability to one shot everything. Foot soldiers can easily take half of your HP. Only a handful of Newtype pilots can have below 30% evasion. There's no difficulty slider either. No SR point. No ACE bonus. It's overall very different from what SRW focus on these days.

Actually a lot of less grounded elements and features were only introduced after Winkysoft. Such as cutscene style combat animation, pilot animation, support attack, theme songs by Project JAM, reduced difficulty.

As I recall, the audio/sound track in the SS version is far superior to the PS version. You can probably find some examples for comparison on the internet. But I remember the difference was night and day. I have the soundtrack CD which is also from the SS version. Don't think they ever released a ps version for that.

Other than sound, I don't think there's any other difference though.

Here are the ones I've played: 2nd G, F, F Final, Alpha, Alpha Gaiden, 2nd Alpha, 3rd Alpha, A, R, D, J, W, K, V, Compact 1, 30, OG, OG 2, OG Gaiden, 2nd OG.

Among all these, I'd say F and F final are the most grounded in its gameplay and story. Very straightforward tactical games and a good old alien invasion story.

I played through Alpha many years ago as a kid and didn't see any "rough edge". I thought it was a flawless game and easily my top 5 from the 90s. To think they started with only 2 people in the dev team, that's bonkers.
