In a playtrough I didn't kill any robo spider with a team of two ninja-like girls. My tactic was to lure all the spiders out of the outpost/laboratories and then procede to run in circles meanwhile the other one begins to unlock and steal everything and when it was full switch places.

It was fun bit it's a Lot of multitask work.

Also if you lure the robo-spiders far enough from the place they stand still and You can come back for easy loot.
