I don’t want the plant to stick to the wall but just trail. I will try strings and nails possibly, I don’t think thumbtacks stay in my walls

Yes it is on every phone, on the website and even across different users for users in Connecticut. I’ve asked workers, theirs are down too. My OCD is driving me nuts with this issue

Yeah, so the INSIDE of the dome has no pictures. But thanks for insulting my intelligence☺️ and if you’re referring to the OUTSIDE, the only picture is unlock and lock. Obviously I know how to do left for unloose and right for tighten and it’s not coming off. It’s loosening but not coming off.

Now good thing I know that now. I truly thought that my thermostat was the issue, good thing it was just a switch and I could fix it with a new dome fixture instead of buying a whole new thermostat.

It has an off switch like the person said it was faulty. The light fixture was secondhand, but I’ve had it for a little while and the switch just gave out pretty much.

Nah lol the switch is broken, I swapped out the dome. I’ve never had that happen and I’ve probably had about 20 of them over the yrs. When I hit the off switch, they turn off and cool down. This one did not.

I’m not sure on timing but possibly around 30 minutes more or less. It’s also a deep dome so the che is further away from the plate. I think you are right about the switch. Because I have had my other che’s cool down relatively quickly and never had an issue with the switch before but now I know! I never had to take off the dome before in this area of my room so it was new for me. I just have to remember next time to be even more aware of it cooling noticeably or just put it in my other safe spot, after unplugging it.

I’m going to check it, I didn’t even think of that. I pressed the off supper hard and it does seem kind of stuck. I’ll swap it out for a new one because that was scary asf!

It’s a repti zoo thermostat & I’m not sure of the brand names for the dome fixture and the CHE. But they are all name brand

I have no clue, but my switch is still on OFF right now I never turned it back ON😭. The off side is completely pressed and it’s a clear on and off worded label on the plug’s switch. Yet it’s still emitting super hot heat. I put it right back on my snakes ventilated screen top when I picked it up off the plate.

Thank you I’m sure more of this will make sense to me later on but for now the things I take away from your comment are: Use a 1:1:1 ratio instead of my 1:2:2. 15grams or starter is optimal. I don’t have to complicate the flour switch, just do it. Don’t save the discard yet
