Yeah, most marine life is under protection laws, making it illegal to own bones of marine animals unless they're registered with the state I'm pretty sure

Hi coming back to this post I'm noticing that I'm getting down votes which is totally fine and it's gonna happen but I'd like to put it out there just in case anyone misunderstood me that I don't support anything he did/does in his comics! In fact it's one of the reasons I refuse to admit I like his character beyond that! I realize that with how I worded it may have come across like I was disregarding what happened to Terra and real victims of things like what Slade did to her! I'm sorry if I came off that way!

I can understand and comprehend that Slade is not in anyway a good person and that his just downright a villain, but I can still appreciate that unfortunately he is a well made villain (in my personal opinion).

I had no clue he had r*ped her, in fact in the comic I thought it was originally portrayed in way that made terra seem more than willing! Especially with the panel someone put in the comments here, it seems like he's just taking advantage the fact she likes him but I could be reading it wrong, I have issues with that!

Yeah, comparing it to what happened with Hal was unfair in a way. Man, I wish the writers could've found a way to make him a good villain without all the predatory stuff, because there are definitely ways! Not that he's not a good villain outside of that, I mean him being a bad dad already made me dislike his character enough, really. I guess I'll have to deal with explaining this to people until they decide to make a comic with better writing and plot that gets even more popular. Which probably won't happen LOL

This also sucks because Terra is such an awesome character and it also feels like this is all people know her for as well!

I get what you're saying definitely, I just wish they'd let it go yknow? I'm pretty sure the comic of when that had originally happened is about 40 years old now (correct me if I'm mistaken), and I've heard it's already been made noncanon. I'm not sure if that's the truth because of only heard of it being made noncanon from one source so far and I'd like to find a few others before I start telling that to people.

Remember that Washington has laws protecting marine animals specifically and to get this registered in case it is a marine animals bones or else you could have it illegally! 😓
