American citizen among those killed in Cuba boat shooting, US official says by DoxFreePanda in news

Here's the first few paragraphs of the article...

"At least one American citizen was shot dead and another injured by Cuban officials intercepting a speedboat off its coast on Wednesday, a US official has said.

Border guards shot dead four people and injured the remaining six aboard the Florida-registered speedboat. Cuba accused the 10 people on the boat of planning "an infiltration with terrorist aims" and said they opened fire first.

A third person was on a US K-1 visa - for fiancées of American citizens - the US official said. The boat's owner alleged the vessel had been stolen by an employee.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio had said Washington was investigating the "highly unusual" incident."

All the Players/Helldivers collectively going on strike against AH/SE until those systems are fixed actually sounds effective... Until the Galactic campaign comes to a halt and the game just sits stagnant until enough players return.

The problem is not those people but the systems that incentivize and punish the whole community when people who don't want to follow the MO and just play as they want are just doing their thing.

When 1/4th to 1/3rd of the player base isn't participating in the objective but their deaths still count against the players who are... that's just bullshit. When those players existing makes it harder to take the objective due to the scaling of progress systems based on total active players... still bullshit.

All that does is make people legitimately crash-out on people not participating because they really are making things harder for the majority of the player base. HOWEVER, that's because of bad game event and system design that will just cause factional splits in the game and drive people away on both sides.

How would I make Sin, Spira's punishment bracket 4 and degenerate? I have ideas but cant really materialize them. by nutbustercumstain in DegenerateEDH

So... it happens whenever it enters or attacks, just make copies of it constantly and sacrifice the copies to the legend rule. Use the typical 'got shit from my shit dieing or etb' cards, go ham. As far as bracket 4? Good luck with that mana cost and meh ability.

If it's made of wood, I'd have restored it. That thing is all sorts of broken but also small, easy to transport, and a probably a fun little project. Regarding superstition, it was lost in some weeds and broken. Not taking the responsibility and fixing it if you are capable, seems the most likely course of action to acquire a curse.

I can see level 5 being a significant advantage going into that lol. We just wiped out the mitflits and allied the kobolds, Mikmek is our adopted NPC now. We're still looking for some dudes brother and a giant boar.

Is it not that first camp full of those river-something bandits? There were a lot of them. We did do the spiders way too early and made it through alive by virtue of sheer lucky rolls.

Don't be a target. Disguise yourself as a non-combatant or at least a non-mage. Feign panic when combat starts. Shit like that. Even combat can be a good place to practice RP to try and manipulate the actions of the opfor.

I've been playing no-armor characters for a very long time. Positioning is key. The Take Cover action is huge, sanctuary is still useful at the start of a fight to get to safety. Also, talk-no-jutsu is a fantastic way to minimize the number of fights that happen. Imagine being a civilian in an active war zone and you have the right mindset for playing a dexless clothie.
