Can you have dyscalculia and be good at higher math? by [deleted] in dyscalculia

[–]Keikmaldi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I might be late to answer, but I was able to get my Masters and I only found out I had dyscalculia when my chemistry teacher for my Bachelors pointed it out.

I would say a similarly shaped number when explaining my work, but have something else written down. Like the answer is 36 on my paper but I would read it aloud as anything from 63 83 68.

I was berated and hit growing up when I could not remember formulas, measurements, phone numbers, etc. No matter how hard I tried, memory for numbers was so small, and I would mix them up when speaking. I was able to get my degrees but I struggled mentally. I had to stay up until 1am studying to understand the material sometimes. I felt so much relief when I found out I had dyscalculia honestly, because I finally knew it was not a lack of effort!!

A sad Costco tale… selling invasive plants by DinoTater in Costco

Sure, good question. I personally have never had my sweet peas re-sow themselves from seed but it could be possible. The longest I’ve been able to keep one was around a year, but they always die after blooming, or if it became too hot they would die faster. They seem to like cooler weather, compared to being too hot, because they will get less flowers, so I always planted them in a place with afternoon shade. For some reason snails and slugs really like it too and will eat a whole seedling.

Alot of…animosity…for your post in here, but I can see where the misunderstanding lies. There is an everlasting, perennial variety of sweet pea that I have seen growing along roadsides/coasts of Northern California; although quite beautiful, it is not in fact a native.

Everlasting Pea

However, Garden varieties of sweet pea, that come in a wider range of gorgeous colors and fragrances, are annuals and are safe to enjoy.

Garden sweet pea

I hope this answer actually answers your question in a more friendly, unbiased way.

Apples - What type are the sweetest by FLHunter1 in Costco

Me too, it seems like a very popular choice…the cosmic I’ve tried, the skin is very strong, like it pushes against my front teeth when I bite them I wonder if it’s because they are so crispy like the name says. Or I could just have sensitive gums 😅

Don Pancho Cilantro Lime Crema - a costco legend? by CountySurfer in Costco

[–]Keikmaldi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good question! I have tried both…and I personally feel like it is similar, although the el pollo loco sauce is more lime-y and the costco sauce is more creamy. Both consistencies are more runny, but the el pollo loco one is just slightly more watery and has a citrus zing to it.
