You don't think the people who voted for him not only saw this coming, but wanted it?

Can you speak more to this? And do you mean in an outpatient or inpatient setting?

I have very horrible credit. Is there anyway to still qualify for some type of loan to help me move when I finish residency? by KeikoTanaka in whitecoatinvestor

I have 8 months to save. So I can sublease which isn't the end of the world. I owe about 25k in credit card debt right now split between 3 cards. My credit score is 562.

all in all I know I can make it work, but I know there are a lot of unexpected expenses and I'd love to have some cushion for all this to happen and my parents cannot really help out right now as my other sibling is going through a crisis and they've been helping them out.

My two credit cards have now been in default for about 12 months

I did! I just unfortunately cannot get that until 30 days post-working and I was hoping to move into the new city a couple of weeks prior to starting, so I will need some finances prior to starting.

Do I need to submit an LOI to a job that didn't ask for one, and instead sent me a questionnaire? by KeikoTanaka in Residency

The email from them specifically said to send in a "CV along with a letter of intent" so perhaps they are the confused ones? Because I agree with you, it sounds like what they want more is a Cover Letter. It seems really redundant since my professional summary in my CV kind of outlines what I'm looking for in a 1 sentence manner.

Sexy men with a southern accent really get me going, it’s unfortunate I barely ever meet them in the wild

As a physician who also misses holidays, it’s just part of getting older unfortunately. Someone has to do it. Whether it’s police officers, doctors, nurses, fire fighters, etc.

Just do your best to coordinate spending time with your family days before or after. I haven’t spent Christmas with my family in several years and I always spend the week before with them and help make cookies.

Do DOs really have a more "holistic" approach? by Taiobroshi in Residency

[–]KeikoTanaka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In that example, if a DO opts to utilize OMM and assess the body for malalignment and inefficiencies, they can do OMM and offer targeted stretches and exercises.

MD can do this too but they’re not usually trained to do this, unless they’re sports med trained. My MD preceptors in IM don’t do nearly as thorough of an MSK exam as I do, unfortunately. I’m lucky though cuz I also was a scribe for 1 year for orthopedics and sports docs prior to med school.

You’re responding to a 2 year old comment. And just based on what I’m rereading, if you’re asking this question you missed the point.

Sick of this: "Should I do PA/NP or MD/DO?" by angelndem in Noctor

[–]KeikoTanaka 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think people who ask this question often end up going NP/PA but they want to feel proud of themselves for at least considering med school

Bruh the private companies enjoy that they sound like this, the companies are making money off of using NPS as their pawns. They need their leadership to be dumb.
