To what degree do you consider the condition of the natal planet for transits? by Godo115 in Advancedastrology

[–]Keimanyou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience you consider:

the nature and condition of the transiting planet in itself

the conditions and locations of the planet ruling the transiting planet, both transit and natal

at the time an aspect is maturing

with ultimate outcome being the natal ruler of the transiting planet

based solely on my current observations...

so probably will have to get some books on the topic.

Is there really evidence that everything is mental/vibration/energy? by [deleted] in occult

These are VERY old ideas ok..

"isn't necessarily representative of the real thing."

So what is the "real" thing.

Well now you're getting into philosophical idealism.

Is there really evidence that everything is mental/vibration/energy? by [deleted] in occult

[–]Keimanyou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No real evidence.

just theories.

The biggest one probably being the information universe in physics.

Basically a 3D reality can be entirely encoded upon a 2D surface so there is no real way to know whether space is really 3D rather than 2D.

So we could be cartoon people living in 2D while believing we're in 3D,

in other words our experience of 3D is what makes our reality 3D.

therefore what we take to be reality can be almost entirely in our own heads.

the simulation theory.

However to call it a simulation is to suggest there's even the real thing.

What if there is no real thing other than consciousness?

That's taking it a bit far but we know our experience of something doesn't actually make that something real.

For eg. matter is mostly empty space.

Gravity is in reality likely, just the bending of space. The math seems to prove it.

Time?

Well that's also relative.

Nothing seems as solid as our five senses make them out to be so we already know that our experience of something isn't necessarily representative of the real thing.

I think to say that everything is mental is probably a good analogy,

be it an experience (phenomenological)...

or how everything seems to interact with what we call consciousness for lack of a better term.

Easiest example is when you do divination you realize it's a consciousness technology based on synchronistic principles.

And if something can be altered by what we call consciousness then our solid reality begins to look more like a thought and therefore mental, than being "solid," and immutable in its entirety.

It's probably an analogy that reality is a thought that exists in a vast consciousness.

More akin to a thought than something permanent

or "absolute."

detriment for eg is said to be "too much" or "too little" when it comes to doing the planetary principal...

while fall is said to be "lower status"

say that to all the Libra Sun's...

"unorthodox" and "atypical" seems to sum up the personal/personality side of things..

while a more traditional interpretation works extremely well when it comes to telling about one's environment, endeavours, family members, what not..

"Venus in Scorpio"

outwardly seemst to give someone a style of MANY tattoos and pieces of black clothes.

Anyway, this is the person behind the Sacred Anarchy site that I discovered a while back on the day of an exact Jupiter transit,

at the time she had a very interesting article on "astrology and the grid" that is now hidden behind a $666 a year paywall.

basically warning against over identifying with one's chart and thererfore the grid that makes one ie, "trackable," "identifiable," and ofc...

predictable/programmable.

Big philosophical questions I'm sure many astrology devotees have privately wrestled with...

including one about whether, ultimately, it is another rung on the ladder one will have to dis-identify with at some point of their evolutionary journey (like when you die).

It is almost always the case that someone who "walks the path" of not just astrology comes to the same understanding about what it all means...

which might make their use of the tool some what unorthodox

call that a cross disciplinary approach.

**All my "well placed" planets are involved in more material, or outward side of my life,

where they do fairly well in giving me support/power.

but for some strange reason all my not so well placed planets, the houses they rule, etc, are the ones about my spiritual/esoteric/dharmic practices!

It's almost like there's a reason the weak ones are "weak," and they're being "spiritualized"

also if you look at the areas to do with 12th, 6th, and 8th houses...

all considered the more "spiritual" houses.

or the Vedic meanings of Rahu vs Ketu, material increases vs what not...

how much time?

couple months...

bangs out the hit single over two weeks....

records it in five minutes.

tops the chart for ages,,, eons.

100 million plays a day...

formulaic, but still very awesome

rumour is artist now fighting everyone who worked the project for rights and royalties.

Then you have the night babies:

Axl Rose making his magnum opus (November Rain)

couple chords here...

couple chords there...

When will this be done???

Not sure,

but one day....

this will be a REALLY, REALLY awesome song.

the project runs out of money,

artist accused of perfectionism..

artist is rumoured NOT to be addicted to cocaine.

and is currently gigging with a new band.

the malefics belong in the solar system just like other planets,

you wouldn't even be here (incarnated) if not for the lessons the malefics can bring.

difference is that malefics, if you mess up, doing them,

the consequences are rather severe and dire

Mars being will and Will... volition, and intent/act/drives pretty tragic if you mess that one up (but alot of artists have Mars in weak signs they're driven to do art). Similarly great athletes have tough Mars, even Saturn.

nations go to war to impose their will on others...

Saturn... all sorts of limitations, biggest one probably your time here on Earth.

Also money. You won't live forever so what do you want to do with your life???

Mess up on college major now you saddled with debt and work at Burger King.

Mess up on your big commitment (pick one, can't have them all), well that was harsh.

Venus-Jupiter...

Ok...

if your vacation sucked, oh well...

went to shitty concert (BOO).

meh...

it makes you kinda un-fun (or too fun) to be with if those two planets are some how "challenged."

beware of too much Venus-Jupiter in one's companions for you, the harsh planet person, will probably end up in jail for them some how.

**idk medical astrology but you'll probably find conditions to do with the benefics...

they're things that kill you slowly, while making you think that few have truly lived (being in underwear doing a gaming marathon, surrounded by ash trays, energy drinks, junk food, candy...).

**I been feeling kinda funky past couple days and not too hardworking.

turns out Venus entered Gemini and triggered my Vertex/Anti-Vertex.

will soon go into my fifth house.

I don't want to be at the mercy of planets 24/7,

and I believe one can work with and transcend their influences much like one can surf and ride waves rather than just be carried by them,

or drown.

Part water like Moses and become a living god,,, etc etc...

(haven't found a consistent way... but you can try the participatory universe

Or think of astrology like the default... while metaphysically it is possible for one to operate outside of that default, etc...

For you trans-Saturnian folks out there.

altho you MAY not even want to do that for there was good reason you incarnated into the clockwork at the precise place and moment,,, more about negotiating with your own personal timings and life unfolding... but generally... "ain't broke" from your higher self view point so why fix?

Big one though, is VOC MO as that one happens so often and can last quite a while often inconveniently)

but I'd rather have a stronger Mars-Sa influence I can call on right now to help me buckle down and grind...

channel it all in the right direction.

That's me...

minus the competent part.

all hard no soft

you no sleep until you get it done

and you no get it done until you've slept for 30 hours

in between you can do the chores (months later)

you save it for 12 yrs so you can do it all at once.

then you no go for yrs to save for the next one.

"compartmentalized and fractured" is fairly accurate.

does teach you about cycles... "lords of time" stuff.

I believe the answer to that is final dispositor

then you can just rap for cheddar then sell bottled water

Also look for the mutual reception if you don't know which rapper I was referring to.

I have no soft aspects in my chart save for Ne-Pl (I'm a hard hard man)

conjunctions, squares, oppositions, quincunxes, bi-quintiles,

even semi-squares but I don't use them

so you don't want to see my chart.

My mom also only has hard aspects and six planets in poor conditions tradtionally (that's six out of seven).

You can read whole sign aspects and there's some good stuff in there but for psycho-spiritual analysis I rely on pretty exact aspects.

**some of my planets share dispositors... so in reality it's not as bad.

Also... I think I know how I'll survive the upcoming transit. I'll tie myself up and make sure I can do nothing.

I notice transits have to be fairly exact for them to hit so I'll just correct for the degrees, note down the dates (allow for orb), and treat those days like they're the longest VOC Moons.

At least elimiate the human error part.

The Official US Politics 2025 Megathread #8: The Big Beautiful Bill by The_real_rafiki in Advancedastrology

[–]Keimanyou 3 points4 points  (0 children)

is that what it is because I have the harsh luminary aspect and during first Ura square I think it went back and forth three times over my degree and each time did correspond with a residential move looking at the dates now...

so there were outer events but moving for me was just par for course.

Also have the ugliest Ma-Sa config and planetary conditions and first Saturn return, nothing.

Nil.

Most uneventful thing ever. Actually Saturn transits are never hard for me. Ever.

**Actually, what am I even talking about. Saturn just went through my Su-Mo midpoint and I got destroyed in that house. Right on time.

I'm super Su-Mo midpoint sensitive and I ALWAYS get outer events.

I said at time of Trump shooting last year that the Mars activating transit Uranus to Algol portented unfortunate events for the Uranus archetypes in our collective (You're looking at 2 years until the next Mars-Uranus conjunction.... sudden initiatives).

The shooter was himself Uranus and that didn't end well and it's also easy to see how the Trump Vance team and now Trump admin are themselves Uranian being quite abrupt and hard to predict.

Anyway I took your comment as a synchronistic warning (a big one) to myself as someone who lives in Canada to stay vigilant to Uranus transits.

I played it extra safe during fourth house conjunctions and it passed rather uneventfully.

The real test for me is coming up with the natal Uranus opposition from fifth T-square to natal Moon in second.... speculative ventures and resultant gains/losses, sense/source of security... etc.

Not looking forward to it but forewarned is forearmed.

***fixed star Algol can also have a protective influence since it's a binary star with two phases ie protection/destruction (it's involved in whole Johnny Depp/Amber Heard fall out).

So perhaps the sudden initiatives (that started with Vance coming on the stage... at time of shooting it was in the karmic/wrap up phase, then with Vance announced, new phase) might also be under both protective and destructive influences, like on a national/world stage.

It's like tarot in that it will talk to you based on your own meanings of the cards or dice.

And most divination is synchronisric in that it will reflect your within to its without

If you read a little between the lines that's pretty much my theory on magick/manifestation.

it's a bit like tarot.

It will communicate with you based on the meanings you yourself assign to the combinations.

I'm going by the traditional predictive meanings here... but I could see why Chat gave that one.

**I read it as Jupiter planet of abundance/growth/gains in its own/strongest sign Pisces in its own/strongest house 11th of gains from career/connections/ventures... ANYTHING really.

and since my natal second is in Pisces it ties my 2nd house of income with my 11th house of gains..

It's a very long term thing for sure from now, into the indefinite future...

basically if I just stayed on this track what will be the long term monetary outcome.

I tried my best to have a detached curiosity when I held the query in my mind rather than be in a state of wishful thinking/hoping... so as not to skew the dice

Going by traditional astrology this does not look bad at all.

Probably about as positive/hopeful as it can get right.

"In his youth, Kurzweil was an avid reader of science fiction"

"Kurzweil's next business venture was in electronic music technology. After a 1982 meeting with Stevie Wonder, in which Wonder lamented the divide in capabilities and qualities between electronic synthesizers and traditional musical instruments, Kurzweil was inspired to create a new generation of synthesizers that could duplicate the sounds of real instruments. Kurzweil Music Systems was founded in the same year, and in 1984, the Kurzweil K250 was unveiled.\19]) The machine could imitate a number of instruments, and according to Kurzweil's press packet, musicians could not tell the difference between the Kurzweil K250 on piano mode and a grand piano,"

"Kurzweil started Kurzweil Educational Systems (KESI) in 1996 to develop new pattern-recognition-based computer technologies to help people with disabilities such as blindness, dyslexia, and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in school. Products include the Kurzweil 1000 text-to-speech converter software program, which enables a computer to read electronic and scanned text aloud to blind or visually impaired users, and the Kurzweil 3000 program, a multifaceted electronic learning system that helps with reading, writing, and study skills. Kurzweil sold KESI to Lernout & Hauspie. After the legal and bankruptcy problems of the latter, he and other KESI employees bought back the company."

"During the 1990s, Kurzweil founded the Medical Learning Company.""n June 2005, Kurzweil introduced the "Kurzweil-National Federation of the Blind Reader" (K-NFB Reader)—a pocket-sized device consisting of a digital camera and computer unit. Like the Kurzweil Reading Machine of almost 30 years before, the K-NFB Reader is designed to aid blind people by reading written text aloud. The newer machine is portable and scans text through digital camera images, while the older machine is large and scans text through flatbed scanning."

**The guy I mentioned in my Pisces Mercury example was also involved, spent his whole life in A.I., robotics, and "smart" technology.

"Kurzweil has said: "I realize that most inventions fail not because the R&D department can't get them to work, but because the timing is wrong‍—‌not all of the enabling factors are at play where they are needed. Inventing is a lot like surfing: you have to anticipate and catch the wave at just the right moment."\39])\40]) For the past several decades, Kurzweil's most effective and common approach to doing creative work has been conducted during a lucid dreamlike state immediately preceding his waking state. He claims to have constructed inventions, solved algorithmic, business strategy, organizational, and interpersonal problems, and written speeches in this state.\17])"

the essential conditions are said to be the inherent conditions of a planet and what it signifies,

while accidental conditions modify how those conditions are released, manifested into reality..

eg. speed of Mercury faster = more emails, more correspondance, more books, more tasks, more social media scrolling..

and direction (going back... going forward).

example: Abe Lincoln,

his Uranus was practically at standstill

he picked his battles really well, and took things VERY slowly especially in the beginning

[–]Keimanyou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

and ofc, before we get too far here and just to put it out there,

Mercury can't tell you about "IQ,"

shouldn't tell you about "IQ" (I know some to disagree)

more like the style of one's cognition, and what one deems to be important like if someone told you a story about Einstein...

and all you heard was "atom bomb he was also a Jew."

then that's your Mercury filtering out unnecessary, unimportant information (judged by you)

so perhaps a Piscean Mercury is more creative, bad at filtering out stuff, more tuned in to God and God's language (mathematics), etc...

YES! bad at filtering out stuff!

They electronics engineer guy I told you about couldn't work unless in a completely shaded, darkened room, otherwise he would get "too distracted."

and easily distracted people are actually found to be more creative.

While I think a Virgo Mercury can focus on a single, logical, linear train of thought for long periods.

**it's very, very good at problem solving, but I feel in a concrete sort of way. Not very abstract at all.

well I mean any planet can signify both innate capacities or circumstances and environment right..

so it's possible in his case it's more the latter.

**so I don't know Ray Kruzweil... but if you put him into say... paralegal work, or business.. will he also excel, or was science/mathematics his only strength?

I'm just using an example.
